Sure here if God came down from heaven and wiped out the entire French team and wacked the ball into the back of the net, I might just start going to church again. Pardon? Would you have berated Keane or not? Honestly? I would have been delighted we got through, like anyone else would, but would I have failed to see that he cheated to score the goal? No, I wouldnt, it would have been as clear as day ffs.

People are going mad because of this tweet http://twitter.com/Thierry_Henry/status/5737385593 Even though it was made in relation to the game on Saturday

How is going out into the town supporting your team? Going out on the town and having a beer with fellow supporters isn't supporting your team, but blubbing on an internet website is Has it ever occured to you that people may not have the money to go out or that some people have committments in the morning? Money isn't an excuse really as you don't have to drink, you go for the atmosphere, do you have other commitments in the morning? Why do you need excuses? Is the pub an essential aspect of supporting a football club? What difference does it make if you watch it at home or anywhere else that isnt in Paris? It has no baring on what kind of supporter you are what so ever, I cant believe people are actually trying to argue that it does And as a matter of fact, I do have commitments in the morning. http://titirangistoryteller.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/the_commitments_disc_1-39.jpg didn't know they were still going... Cracking show

Work in the morning lad, no time for boozing... Commendable. Where do you work ? And Declaen my dear, if you love the team surely the atmosphere of a pub far outweighs sitting in your room photoshopping Thierry Henry's head onto penises. Maybe it does, but again it has no relation what so ever to supporting the team.

f*** off tbh YOU AREN'T EVEN FROM THE REPUBLIC?! Poor, hardly surprising from you mind. I guess theres a Sunderland joke coming next. Not at all, but you are going on like you were born and raised there and you bleed ROI, when you openly admitted 'well me and all my friends just support them instead.' You havent a clue about Irish politics, if you did you wouldnt be asking me why I support them. Ive said it before ive family in the Republic, have an Irish passport etc etc. Plus what do you expect me to do? Support them and not give a f*** about them like? I cant believe this is being raised again, it must be the 10th time in this thread alone, unbelievable. I bet if NI weren't so poor you'd be up for supporting them, so stop trying to make out like you are some Political Rebel by supporting the better of the two Irish sides. Oh come on he's making out like he's some sort of Martyr, then saying the ref should be reprimanded. How am I? Stop twisting things to suit your arguments, you do this all the time, its pathetic. Plus I never said the ref you idiot, I said the officials concerned, and why shouldnt they when its costs a country a World Cup place and the FAI millions? You said you support them for 'political reasons' come off it man. Oh sorry the officials, that's miles away from jsut the ref. Decky man take a sleeping tablet and go get some kip, tonight's clearly gotten the better of you. He supports them because he's Irish. Holy f*** man, what can you not understand? He's Northern Irish. The countries are different. Are you in the same boat or do you live in the republic I forget. No he's not. He already told you he has an Irish passport. And yes, I am in the same ignorant boat you're putting people in. I was born in Northern Ireland... Does he have a British passport too? No, why would I need 2 passports ffs

You were born in Northern Ireland, despite what your passport says. You have chosen to support the ROI, just like I have chosen to support Scotland because of my family connections. Stop crying about them not qualifying, man up. Another awful post. Am I not allowed to be agrivated that they didnt go through like? Im also not even going to comment on your other point or bother replying to your next post as you are blatantly on the wind up in this thread, just like the Michael Jackson thread all over again.

10 Champions League players in the French team, we had a Scunthorpe and Coventry players on our bench An absolutely outstanding performance from the lads tonight, couldnt be more proud of them despite the result.
-
f*** off tbh What do you expect? Sympathy? If it'd had happened to us, you'd be front of the queue waving baguettes and garlic in our faces! First off I wouldn't, secondly if I did, would I not be told to fuck off?

The day football dies. Mistakes/bad decisions are part of football, every one benefits or suffers from them at some point, adds a touch of unpredictability to the beautiful game I reckon football dies when teams get to the World Cup on the back of goals like that. The game should be played properly, without the likes of Henry's goal.

He spoke after the last one, guaranteed to go missing after this the cunt.

Fuck off, there was bodies all over the place, can't blame the refs for not seeing that. The extra refs they've got in the Europa League would probably have caught it though... Fuck off? Is the linesman your ole fella or something? There was an offside before it as well btw. None of the players who were offside touched the ball, so that doesn't matter. No doubt the decision was wrong, but there was no way the ref could have seen it. The linesman possibly could have, but it's hardly awful refereeing. Squillaci played the ball, thats interfering with play as far as im concerned. Did he touch it before it came to Henry? I'm watching on a pretty poor stream, where it didn't look like he did. Sorry if I'm wrong there. He didnt touch it, but he jumped to head it. Defenders are marking him and jumping with him, Given had to look and make sure he got nothing on it. If he is offside then the whistle should go, if he wasnt there then the defenders marking him might have been elseware preventing the goal.
