I think I take back the things I said about him the other day. I was very negative because of everything in those last few games but there's no denying he gave us some great memories. No point being bitter about a few weeks amongst 3 and a half years. A half price Sela deal for a season is a pile of shit, surely we could find a company willing to pay more than half for a year? Why would we agree a deal with a Saudi company for half the price? If anything it should be more money and PIF should be capable of making it happen fairly easily.

Do people on this thread not think players should have a level of respect for the club paying their wages and have a bit of social media awareness too? Who said anything about loving the club? I don't expect players to put the clubs interests above their own but it's about how they handle it and the level of respect shown. Gordon could have got the ball rolling with his agents on a move this week, and also approached Howe and co this week and said he wanted a move. It would have been sorted. He went about it infront of everyone with the club still competing for the European spots and ended up being dropped when he could have helped us on the field and I bet he couldn't care less about it now. Just fucking spineless and any player who wants to behave like that instead of doing it properly can jog on tbh.

I think in his head he sees us as a stepping stone to an elite club for the likes of him and Isak, and Isak got his golden ticket. I guess Gordon has his now too. Him liking Isaks post proves how little he cares about Newcastle because he's not stupid he knows it would be spotted.

He should get the same stick Isak got. Only difference is it didn't drag on all summer and that's probably more about us being willing sellers more than anything.
