Only natural people want to see as many of the talented players we have as possible IMO. This! And perhaps it would have been a good idea to not start some of these players against York. Just saying... So that they would have a bigger chance to gel with the rest of the team.

This is why i wanted Willems in to replace Haidara Nowhere near ready, way too raw.

Imo we have 5 (FIVE) players on the bench that i would start against Southampton!

Please take off Obertan, Cissé, Sissoko, Colback and Willo. Put on Perez, Mitrovic, Aarons, De Jong and Mbemba.

What is your ideal line-up for Southampton? Todays team only has three players that I wouldn't play against Southampton (Williamson, Obertan & Anita), hardly changing half the team... I cannot see many of the players (who will start next weekend) play for 90 minutes today, and those on the bench today that should start against Southampton will not get much time together with the "important" ones today. They need to play at the same time, for as long as possible, if not for the whole game.

Figures 1-0 Football, i'd like to see the players given a chance to gel before our first game. Not changing half the team after 45 minutes..A few maybe, yes. For example, Perez and Aarons should start. We won't find any rythm against Southampton...

What are you expecting? A full strength line-up with the risk of injuries to win a pre-season game 1-0? I think you need to take a deep breath and wait to see the line-up next week (even still, I doubt Mbemba will be fit enough to start next week). I'm not even gonna bother replying to this
