    I now not many of you will understand what it say´s (just want it as a source). but I must say I was quite shocked to read this, this morning.

     

    The paper claim´s that it was Newcastle representatives in Borås at yeasterdays Swedish leaguematch to scout the Swedish championships Elfsborgs center defender Jon Jönsson, 23 yeras old.

     

    The price to buy him would be around £1m.

     

    Ok he is one of the best center defender in the league, but if he´s good enough in PL is impossible to say. It´s a to big difference between the league´s.

    £12m is defenitly worth the money. I beat we have a couple of players that earns more. but it´s on time we get a decent manager, so it will be worth every penny as I said.

     

    I really looking forward to he sign´s because then we and he can focus on the squad etc. Will also be intresting to see the structure on the backdoor staff

    Allardyce supposedly as good as appointed - Happy or Disappointed?

    It sounds like Allardyce is insisting on a decent, four-year contract, and the right to choose his own backroom staff. Good news as far as I'm concerned. Let's have a manager who's in a secure position who's really in charge. It must stick in the craw for Shepherd, but he's got no choice but to agree.

     

    I think Allardyce will do a good job. He's a big, aggressive personality, which I think you need for our club, but he's also open to modern, sophisticated ideas. It's the combination we need.

     

    I agree, Big Sam has done enough in the game now to warrant a clean page. He would not come without a promised Kitty and full assurances. I believe the last 3 managers would not have gone into such depths:

    Sir Bob - just wanting to manage his hometown club

    Souness - Couldnt believe his luck

    Roeder - as above

     

    Big Sam can afford to bide his time. He could quite easily get a top job abroad, with his contacts, and how that (if he was successful) would put him in pole position for the England job.

     

    He has my full confidence and backing

    Fat Fred is a really bloody joke!

     

    Big Sam is definitive the best manager we can get at the moment and Fat Fred is the only one that can spoil that. Right now I´m so pisst off so I don´t no how to express my self.

    ah, cunning. He says: "I've never spoken to Sam Allar- dyce and he has never spoken to me,"

     

    But he's said nowt about Sam Allardyce

     

    Why the  '-' ?

    hmm Shepherd mabye you should employ better managers and you shoulden´t need to have this talk every year.

     

    If Shepherd don´t go for Big Sam I never suport him again (as if I was doing it now...)
