We were unlucky yesterday, but if we had a better attacking play and played more positive from the start (last 15 was really good, the first 75, nja) we maybe should have created more. I just feel it´s this small things that holds us back. We still has a lot of crappy players (Jonas and Obertan as our wing players at home ffs) but I´m still uncertain about his priority in selecting players.

Don't see why we can't win over there. They look s****, tbh.
This. Massively overhyped team. Hinges on us getting a fair referee though.
That's what we said before today...
Because Pardew dosn´t care enough to send a good team. And we winning away

I don´t know. Feel disappointed in some way. Obertan and Jonas as our wing players are not that very good. Were is Anita??

No PL this weekend. There is no excuse to not go "all in" Must win.
-
I don´t think anyone is questing that he is a good keeper or especially a fantastic shot-stoper. He just needs to boss his box better before he can be "the best".
-
I would definitely go;
Tiote Cabaye
Ben Arfa Sissoko Gouffran
Cissè

Real are so damn good. The speed they can play with Quality match Also quite fun to see Manure get absolutely murdered
-
De Gea, man
Best keeper in the world..

I really want to see us play Barcelona or Madrid. Just curious as to what would happen.
-
Rafael is getting murdered at the RB, not everyday you see that.

Damn he´s good! - Chelsea player :'(

Most teams do not get players in the wall to jump these days because of the number of low shots and deflections conceded, the comentator was an ass saying they should have jumped, if a player is good enough to get the ball over a wall and into the net beating the goalkeeper, you just have to say, good goal.
Not according to this place. You have to blame our captain.
It´s still a bad foul.

Yeah, that is probably right. It´s better to let in a goal like last night and say "hey, great goal" then let in a goal on the ground. Much worse.

Heitinga, Worse than Willo

Not the ideal starter. Feels like a Joker in that sense that he has the potential to win a game, but sometimes he just go missing.

Is it better to have a LB that only have a left foot that only can threaten with crosses after been running the sideline?
Santon would be even better if he would have a left foot. But he is still so good that it doesn´t really matter for me. If this was FM he would never leave this club
-
Of course he´s no Shearer, but he´s a completely different player. You can´t play long high balls to Cissé. Would you do that to Messi too and then complain that he can´t compete in the air?
-
I think as a whole team we should train to play it out better. We had nothing when Spurs put that pressure on us. Every time Krul hit it long you just know that we are going to lose the ball, depressing.
-
They closed us down very well high up the pitch at times, and AVB is obviously a much more in depth coach for passing game, but all in all don't think we were that far off them. Having said that they did have some fluidity and as said they expertly countered Santon's threat. I rate AVB and think he's way more tactically astute than Pardew (maybe worse at man management but seems to be doing very well for Spurs right now) and he's coached clever movement into Lennon.
Didn't really look at them and think they're way better though. I did earlier in the season, but I think they don't quite have a clever enough midfielder atm. Dembele can be great but they don't have a Cabaye and it shows with a lot of their goals coming from individual efforts and really having to sweat goals out of the team.
Yeah, good post. It´s really felt that Pardew was out coached with the high pressure and shooting down our best players. Fair play to them, but it was frustrating.
-
Pardew should definitely start to rotate him in, and it´s should primary be Colo that should be replaced.
-
I´ve got so envy looking at the movement Spurs had yesterday. They had so many more levels than us and I just can´t see us ever being so good under Pardew. It´s not just the passing and movement that has been lacking, it´s also the speed we do things that just are so slow, and you could easily see the different in that game.

Looking were he is when he get the balls and were the rest of the team is I can´t understand the critic he gets. He has missed chances that he should score with, but it´s not that many chances he has got.
Since the french lads came in our play has improved a lot and I think Cissé has improved too and been really good without the ball. The problem is though that he´s so deep. If that´s him or how we are set up I don´t know, I´m going with the second choice.
We have improved but we are still lacking so much movement and you can easily see how important Goffran is to us. I would say that right now he is the most important player we got with his runs, he´s just so smart on the pitch. Look at that goal he scored for example. How many players in our team would have taken that position and done that run? That´s one criticism I can give Cisse, that´s he´s not the smartest player all the time.
-
I have also said that he has done costly mistakes lately, especially against big clubs, but that didn´t go down well, as usually.
-
Man City never play this s*** against us
Do we go at them like this, though?
Exactly what I posted a bit earlier. Southampton is really a joy to watch when they are on fire, like today. Them and Swansea are definitely two teams I love to watch, especially since they demonstrate that you can play wonderful football without top players.

Maybe he also should stick some players in the box and try to hit them.
