Was critical to Nolan all last season and the Manure game. But funny enough I chance my mined a bit. Nolan does´t contribute to the game in especially much, but he does get in to scoring positions better than most forwards and do score goals.
I definitely think that Ben Arfa should play as a attacking player and I do think that Nolan should be considered as a striker and not a midfielder. But as long as we plays 4-5-1 and Carroll is playing I really dont know were to play him. still I would like to see him on the field.

Well, we beat this lot with 5-0 last season (or was it 5-1, what ever)
Will be interesting to see the team we play. One side of me does´t want to chance the team (dear me), and one side want to chance Ben Arfa against Nolan and Tiote against Smith.

For the first time ever I got no confidence about the goalkeeper position whats so ever. I´m really scared every time the opposition gets close to goal every time. The way I sees it now is that Harper won´t save us, but he can cost us.
Right now it just feels like he does´t even try.

Not particularly worried about going down either. We have a good team and can beat every team bar top 3, Liverpool are shite nowadays, and it is a close league. but then again. I have been confidence about the team all way long.

I have to say, some of the views on this forum are crazy if they don't think Keane would be a positive signing!
Damien Duff was a positive signing at the time, doesn't always work out.
But yeah I'd take him if it was on a loan, scores goals.
No he wasn´t, he was an completely unnecessary signing by Roeder. We had a really upcoming Zog that played really well and Roeder just bought him because he was available
Keane would be a perfect partner to Carroll or to take Nolans place. He would be a wonderful signing. Not saying he should play all the time because we now have the ability to play Ben Arfa in the same roll and Nolan as well that really has played well the last to games.

I´m really proud by Hughton and Newcastle, as someone said I can´t remember the last time that happened.
The most impressing thing I think is the way he gets out the best of everybody and really developing players. Take the midfield of Barton, Smith and Nolan. Really crappy players that hasent played well for us. But look at them now. Really impressive.
That Carroll. Compare him now and the game against WBA when Shola was the number one choice. It´s scary, so scary to think about the development.
I thing that I think everyone notice is how much bigger he has got. If you look at Ranger he also start to be a big lad. Maybe he can be the new Carroll in da future

As someone said. Footballers aren´t even wordy £10k, not alone £60k if your name is Steven Taylor. Can´t stand players that thinks more of them self then the club.
Won´t be a loss either. Injured a lot the last few years and I reckon Williamson Sol and Colo will be before him. Think that even Perch can do the same kind of job. Hope that Kadar can bring himself togheter, then we won´t miss him a bit.

Think we actually solved that in the half time team talk. Routledge and Jonas didn´t cut in as much as they did in the first half in the second half. instead they tired to make crosses in to the box.
I think Jonas and Rout has there problems. but if they shouldn´t have them they shouldn´t have been playing for us. I like Rout as a player. He gives us something we haven´t had for a very long time. even if he doesn´t succeed with everything he, as well as Jonas, makes the life difficult for the opponent team to cope with.

Why are people on here complaining at Ashley about transfers? surly he doesn´t have anything to do with them? Hopefully he says to Hughton what he can spend and then leave the rest to him. What happens then I quite sure none of us can answer. Funny thing to judge someone without having anything to judge on.
Why Ashley isn´t a money-milking-cow I think he´s the only one to answer that question. But surly he must do business with the best interest of the club.
