  1. Breaking News on Sky Sports:

"Spurs snap up wonderkids Martin Braithwaite and Niels Bisp Rasmussen."

    Yeah and in 4 years

    Breaking News on Sky Sports:

"Chester City snap up spurs misfits Martin Braithwaite and Niels Bisp Rasmussen."

  2. I was wondering, how many talents do you think we have coming in and out for trials each week?

Last week one of my friends friend, Martin Braithwaite,  had a 5 days trial in Newcastle, he played for the youth team against Leeds and apparently Newcastle was impressed with him, he's 18 years old, central midfielder, and plays for Esbjerg here in Denmark.

And next week another danish talent is going over for 5 day trial, Niels Bisp Rasmussen, a 15 year old very talented central defender from Vejle. Newcastle followed him last season in the danish junior league.

  3. Danish medias says that Michael Laudrup is extremely interested in the Blackburn job and that he could be the leading candidate for the job.

Probably the most underrated player of all time.

Yeah he was brilliant, however, I doubt that his technical way of coaching can help a midtable team in England.

  4. Newcastle in Europe after all?

The normal procedure is that the BFU send the runner-up Levski Sofia to the CL instead, however it is reported that instead of this, the highest UEFA ranked team not already in the competition will be the replacement, and this is Milan.

According to this, Milan will take CSKA's Champions League spot, because they're the highest ranked team, who's not already in the competition. Porto is also out of the tournament and that means that Sevilla as the 2nd highest ranked team af Milan, will take their place.

Now it becomes interesting because the next team on the list is Newcastle, and if UEFA decides to use this rule, then it should also count in the UEFA cup, and who will then take over Milan and Sevillas UEFA cup qualifications? According to UEFA's rules, it should be Newcastle.

honestly speaking it should be the next bulgarian team but i wouldn't put it past uefa to find a way to squeeze in another team from one of the richer leagues and it wouild just be bloody typical of us to get it.

I agree with you, but as you say, UEFA would rather have the big teams in it....

But I don't know how realistic this is, it would be typical for Newcastle though :)

  8. And Newcastle have also put a £300,000 offer on the table for one of Italian club Atalanta's most promising young players, in a move recommended by incoming United technical director Jeff Vetere.

Yeah I like the idea of bringing in a lot of young talents...

But still we could use an offensive midfielder very soon....
