In reply to your comment about prefering a sort of BRING BACK THE NOISE campaign. I have been given the job of collecting money from fellow ultras for a new banner we have planned on getting. It is going to cost over £200 and us so called bairns have managed to raise £150 so far in two games. The banner is going to look similar to our TOON ULTRAS banner, but obviously with the words BRING BACK THE NOISE with black and white stripes on each side. Also thanks to Mr.Keith Barret, Toon Travel man, because he has the older members on his busses for games, he has offered us to begin taking his surfer to games, the surfer which read, CHAMPIONS 1992/93 that one. BUT.... He is paying for that writing to be taken off, and will be adding the new words, SIX FA CUPS AND FOUR LEAGUE TITLES AND IF YOU KNOW YOUR HISTORY This can only be another step in the right direction as far as we are concerned.

People wonder why only 28,000 turn up for a LAST 16 of the UEFA CUP game , our biggest game this season. Christ if you cant get up for a game you may aswell call it a day NOW... Yes again this topic is about Toon Ultras. I like to know what other peoples views on our efforts at games are, wether they are good comments or bad comments we take them all on the chin, and try to improve every game. Obviously as you may know we have changed our area to try and be closer to the pitch so people can hear us more, and alos see us. Last night i thought we done very very well, at times the whole ground was singing along, and yes its hard to believe i know. We went for what you could call , a FLAG theme, where we got everyone to bring there flags , wether they be on sticks to wave or wethere they are just to tie up so people can see them. Our Toon Ultras Bannner looked a mess last night due to the wind, but i am sure by know alot of people know who we are. I know people are going to whinge on again in this topic saying how shite we are, or the name is shite or whatever, but please give it a rest in this topic please. All i/we want to know is what your thoughts are on our performance on influencing the ground to sing, which may possibly have led to a better performance off the players. If you watched from the T.V. please comment and also those of yous who were in the ground with us. I think there is a member, the lad who was on telly saying were gunna win the league , when michael owen signed who was sat with us last night, i would like to know what he thought of the night too. We don't actually dis-like N-O or it's regular members, the problem between the two was with the hitzfeld campaign you all had going, when i believe it was HTT asked us to back his campaign, however he wouldn't back TU on N-O, and it went from there. About tonight, i was very impressed with the numbers we had, 60-100 is a great achievement considering our image has been badly discredited due to the charver element up in level 7, also we never stopped singing, just need to keep working at it. Not totally true as I told the guys who were looking after tu a while back we would happily back them if they simply showed us what they had planned. We then got insults and stuff like we hate N-O, don't need N-O and stuff like that. That's a load of bullshit. The only way you were going to support and advertise the toon ultras on this site was through a name change. The name was then changed to bring back the noise and your hierarchy then added an icon on your homepage with no link. I personally think it's pathetic that people won't support this cause solely because of the name. It's only a f****** name for christ sake. What the toon ultras stand for alone should get every newcastle fan's blessing. St James's is a morgue. The past reputation of it being a fortress is now a myth. The toon ultras are trying to rectify this and do something positive. As if Si.... As long as we are called Toon ltras we will get no help support off anyone else. Its a fucking name man. We actually spoke about the possibilities of a name change last night, but tbh, its a waste of time now. Wether people want to join us or not, thats up to them. Last night we saw a masive increase on members on our forums, because of our flag. One person who sign up , said he has been going since the mid 70's, an says the atmosphere has been getting worse an worse, he said that we were great last night, but wasnt a fan of the balloons, which is fair enough. So next game we are opting for flags.

You will see if you have ever sat in level 7 for cup games this season, chavs have been a massive problem... 1) Alot of them getting thrown out for throwing things at away fans 2) We actually seen one of them supping a bottle of bella brusco, which then get kicked down the stairs an smashed to smithers. 3) One of our main problems is singing songs too fast, as we try to slow songs, they get faster as the chavs or pricks join in, its as if there all on speed. 4) The variety of songs this sing is pathetic. 5) As we sing one song, they began with the usual, EASY EASY EASY OR YOUR SUPPORT IS SHIT ETC.. Those are a few reason why the move was made. Also we feel the players can hear us more were we are now.

Exactly, thats why we took it there. Well LV7 was 60 short tonight with us lot moving. Personally , i think it was better there, an it actually got the boring farts who sit in the east stand on their feet a few times. Whenever people see a crowd of people singing in a section, they follow, that is our only worry, will the chavs follow like sheep again or are they happy up in the heavens giving the away fans abuse.

Errrrr, i think you will find out that there were NO , toon ultras in SJH LV7 tonight, all ultras which we had at the game were stood in the south east corner. Give the chavers a big pat on the back up in SJH LV7 then because you say they were louder and clearer than us in the corner. For having such small number , about 60 of us we made one hell of a racket, an like i say before, our manager, players, an coaching staff MUST be able to hear us as they gave us a wave during songs sung for them

TBH, i think some people know we made a racket tonight, well enough to travel across the ground for our manager an coaching staff to hear us, but the people who are saying it was quite from you lot etc, are the ones who never had any intention of listnening out for us or watching out for us in the first place. I also think that the ones who dont like us, dont like what were doing etc just make there own things up, so even if we were great we woulid still be shite to them.
