  1. Heres a thread on various mock ups based on old adidas designs.

    Sandro Tonali

Thing is, if he's living in Gosforth, he's possibly seen it when driving passed and booked a table. I highly doubt much effort has gone into working out how nice it would be. Bare in mind, only countries like us and the US have such establishments whereby you attract the clientele by actively making the place more cheap and nasty. Most restaurants pride themselves on the quality of the cuisine. Must have been like being on Mars for pure Sandro.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

This transfer window hasn't provided us with a squad capable of winning the quadruple. 5/10

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Ratings: Tonali: 10/10 OK so we don't know for sure that he will be a success but in terms of ambition and what we want our club to be, its an outstanding effort to sign him. He's also in a position we needed. Barnes: 8/10 Was probably a 7 until I actually saw him play in our team and realised how effective he will be. As someone else said, he's the least "risk" and is solid value for money. Livramento: 8/10 Slight risk given his injury and not necessarily a position which many of us would have deemed crucial but a potentially elite, english, right back can't be sniffed at. Hall: 9/10 Pick of the bunch for me. He's only 18 but I'd bet that by the end of the season he's our first choice left back. He's got STAR written all over him. Rare that you see Chelsea fans fuming over losing a young player. He's also in a position we all highlighted. Overall: 8.5/10 Still time to clear out some deadwood and I've marked down because I think an elite RW/RCB would have been chefs kiss. As far as I'm concerned, I'm living in dreamland, so no complaints from me.

That might be the most shy player I've ever seen sign for us. I mean he looks and sounds every bit 16 never mind 18..... However, judging by his highlights he's an absolute baller and plays like an adult. I find the "first day" videos intriguing. You learn so much about the person. Little bits like Gordon being quite confident and outgoing or Tonali being quite reserved, Bruno was straight into charm mode IIRC. You can kind of see everything about the person in those moments. In Hall, you can clearly see a young kid.
  6. Brunos Mrs is right mind.... blokes in a fucking foul mood after a defeat. Someone get him a kinder egg.

It's alright lads, they are just finishing off his media duties.... he's on his 835th question about what it's like to sign for Newcastle, whilst also being a fan of the club.

Q1 So Lewis how happy are you to be sitting here as a Newcastle player? Q2 You support Newcastle, so you must be really happy? Q3 How happy will you be to walk out at SJP Park as a Newcastle player? Q4 Are you pleased that the move happened? Q5 How much are you looking forward to champions league nights at SJP?
  9. Your first paragraph contradicts it's self. And I don't understand what's so hard for people to understand that the likes of Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal's incredible spending in the 80s/90s was because they were historically well supported clubs with income through natural means. I'm my mind there is a huge difference between those above and the injected money of Chelsea, City and Blackburn of yesteryear.
  10. I don't understand the irony. Manchester United were the most successful club in the country, both from a footballing perspective and a commercial perspective. They were launched on the back of an incredible commercial campaign when the PL first formed. Same with Arsenal to an extent. Man City, let's be frank we average as fuck and possibly going out of business until Abu Dhabi saved you. They spent money without rule on whoever they wanted. Newcastle United simply can't do that. We have to build out revenue streams from scratch, thankfully we can invest whatever we want into that side of the club. I'm aware we are both oil clubs, but in terms of what we are allowed to do, the two situations aren't comparable.
  11. I can't stand Man United but there commercial income was organically grown through their success. Man City and Chelsea just hooked up an oil well to the club.
  12. We limited them to less than 1 expected goal at the Etihad. It was actually a superb defensive display. It's just a shame we couldn't get the ball. Let's see how many teams can shut them out like we did.
  13. I just think it's bollocks. When he first came, he was playing a much more advanced role, scoring goals and much more visible. It's been a while since I've seen a 9/10 performance from him but I've still never seen a poor performance from him. Even Bruno on an off day is twice the player Shelvey ever was.
  14. He's class. We are class. Chill out man.
  15. "Pretty poor" Never seem him have a poor game.
  16. Agree with this. Don't agree with this.
  17. City are unreal. If you are whinging about Dan Burn, you clearly don't get it.
