Phil Cave?
-
Start to clean up that mess you've left everywhere Pievert
-
Andy Johnson must be gutted, when he was on form he got a half an hour run out on the right wing or didn't get in the squad. Now that he's not scored for 8 games, he starts. Good idea.
-
What the hell has happened to Henry? Mind in Barcelona?
-
What annoyed me most about Shola and Sibierski being the front 2 was other than the fact Shola can't move, our best chance was to use pace against Dunne, putting 2 big men up top when we have 2 wingers with quite possibly the worst ratio of crosses being converted to goals with 2 midfielders scared of the 18 yard box and you have a very toothless team. Inject some pace and they're quite dangerous. Fully expect 4-5-1 next week, I just hope sense prevails and Dyer is played off Sibierski, or if we fancy being daring and keeping it on the deck, Martins.
-
Who would your central 2 be HTL? I am also of the opinion that Parker and Emre together offer very little, but can't see a better alternative
-
Ah, fair enough then.
-
Well Leeds are also in for him, I'm a tad surprised the m*ckems aren't in for him, thought Keane would get first refusal on any Manc loanee's
-
I thought every Prem club only got offered 3,000 tickets for away games, and then offered more if it wasn't sold out or likely to be sold out? Or has that ship sailed a while ago, or is it different because it's Old Trafford?
-
Well at least if he joins we might get him on a 6 month loan to bed him in to the Premiership blueconfused.gif

Have to laugh at "Unkown"
Spelling Police tbh

How did Ramage and Taylor in the heart of the defence?
We've conceded two goals, and who's to blame?
Taylor at fault on the second goal - he gave away a needless freekick and then from the resulting kick he let his man go free. That's according to Mick Lowes, who was hilarious tonight - "Doyley on the far side HITS THE POST....................Damien Duff has hit the inside of the post."
-
His knee locked up in the warm-up, Pav had to run and get medical help from the dressing room and then Krul got stretchered away. If it just locked up a la Martins then he should be ok.
-
Where is Sibierski!!!
I can't believe I've just asked that

If it happened last Friday, and he's out for 2 weeks, he's already missed one week, how the hell does he miss another 4 games? By that theory he should miss Watford on Tuesday and probably Man City. Or do we just double the amount of games he'll miss because it's nearer the truth?
-
Newcastle (from): Harper, Krul, Taylor, Moore, Bramble, Carr, Bernard, Ramage, Parker, Solano, Milner, Emre, N'Zogbia, Duff, Pattison, Rossi, Sibierski, Luque, Carroll. - From the BBC match preview
No Butt
-
Sorry, but Roeder is a cunt for making the comments he has made re Luque starting.
He is throwing him into a game away at one of the most in-form sides in Europe, and putting the pressure on to perform. We are shit, disjointed, tactic-less, and shorn of confidence. Does he really expect him to perform?
We should be bringing Luque on after 60 minutes of a scoreless game against Charlton at home, and not away to Palermo.
Aye that's right, less pressure on him to score in half an hour in front of 48,000 people most of whom need no further reason to hate him. More pressure in front of 2 or 3 thousand of our lot in Italy in a game we probably go into as underdogs tbh.
Jesus wept!
-
Harper
Taylor Moore Bramble Ramage
Solano Emre Butt N'Zogbia
Sibierski Milner
If Emre, Butt and Sibi all make it. Roeder will pull out all the stops to make sure Luque doesn't start, Olly Bernard will probably play left midfield with Zog moving inside etc. just to make sure Luque isn't needed.
-
We're taking FIVE goalkeepers!? Obviously Pav can't play and Shay won't but still, Rossi can't play either and he's travelled and Emre, Butt, Taylor and Sibierski are doubtful according to .com so basically some of the kids will play. Is that good or bad?
-
Fuckin hell forgot all about this, see I've gone out the cup with a measly 17 points and languishing down in 133rd
-
Is about the best team we can play at the moment. No doubt Roeder will decided Carr and Bramble should start, therefore we will get wooped by a vastly superior footballing side who play the game by defending well and passing the football.
To be fair to us, we're usually quite good at that in Europe. Even under Souness we never exactly shipped goals, and we haven't done that bad in Europe thus far. Much better opposition yes but I'm a lot less worried about our defence at European pace than Premiership pace.
-
Glad I'm not the only one who doesn't understand all this high crossing of the ball to our midget strikers. Also has Harper forgotten how to catch a ball?
Nearly as infuriating as Duff being unable to stay onside

Liverpool match is AMAZING to watch.
Liverpool are playing the best football ive seen in a longg time.
Maybe since the World Cup?
When Argentina played Serbia Montenegro.
Well Villa have got 1 back.
Happy days eh

Have you read the nufc.com match report from Man City?
Something like "Sibierski may have swapped one average club for another, and his fromer team mate Distin might yet do the same.."
Bet the Zog told you that already, given you're now a friend of the players
