Can do with some of them for my house.

Our team is predominantly English. Except Bruno in the middle, Botman at the back, Isak in attack.
-
Everton could do with someone like him
-
I think he will go on to be better than that. He's had less than a handful of starts for us after all.

I think we are under selling Woodgate a fair bit, let's not forget the players he had to play alongside at the time.

That was a difficult watch

Champions League 2023/2024: Group F (Newcastle, Milan, Dortmund, PSG)
dcmk replied to Marko NUFC's topic in Football
Where do we find out the dates of the matches? Edit: just seen the title! -
"Newcastle need a compensatory build-up mechanism which is probably why they bought Lewis Hall." Boggles the mind how anyone can write like this

Alarm bell, really? With better finishing we kill the game off. We had 80% of the possession until the subs IIRC. We hit the bar and the post. The goals they scored were individual mistakes which were taken advantage of by some ridiculous finishing. It was a crazy result, but I don't see why blame is mainly on EH.

Champions League draw should get everyone excited.
-
They have vastly superior squads too. It's not exactly a fair comparison.

If this lad didn't score his one on one, wonder how the forum would be feeling towards this guy. Similar to the Almiron thread?
-
Most managers' records in big matches will be mixed. Peps record in Champions League was mixed until last season.
-
We massively over-achieved last year. No elite coach in the world would think Champions League football would have been an achieveable aim for us last season. Yet this guy did it, and got us to a domestic cup final. The entitlement is off the charts with some on here.
-
It's somewhat comforting to know that we have a manager who actually gives a shit and wants to succeed, so with every loss we are taking some lessons from.
-
Although I agree that Tonali is better. Sean Longstaff is seriously underrated on this forum. Instrumental for us last year.
-
Him and Lewis Hall on the wing is going to be a dangerous combination going forward.
-
Unrelated from today's game, was aware he was playing with injury the end of last year but did he have surgery in the summer? Didn't read anything.
-
Isak makes it 2-0 without VVD red.
-
They were unreal finishes tbf.
-
What the actual fuck was that last 20 minutes.

Everything always goes wrong when we play these. Not really confident about this one.
