Agree. Second half was the worst I’ve seen. First half thought we were pretty good to be fair, was moving it around really good. Some of the play between Bruno and Miles was class and full of confidence. if Miggy had shot instead of tried to pass, to make it 2-0, probably would have been a dull night for some on here. Confidence seemed to disappear after their goal and totally capitulated.

But saying that, he has to have a few more transfer windows, before support amongst the fan base disintegrates. Last season with less injuries and no fixture congestion and playing Dan Burn in defence we qualified for CL, had a cup final and the best defense in the league.

It's like some fans only support the team when we are winning. And just need/want to blame individuals. It's 1-1. They have had two counter attacks, if we tighten that up and not over commit, should win comfortably imo, well based on that first half that is.

There is something going on.. we are unable to train at intensity, there is a lack of preparation time between matches, we are having to play players not at 100% fitness, we are unable to slowly integrate players back into the team after injuries and having them suffer reoccurances as a result. Can't press/counter press effectively anymore. And to top it off we are conceding last minute goals. Must be soul destroying for him.

Every top team has to be able to run and play with intensity but we are unable to do this right now, for every obvious reasons. We have been attempting to run, press and counter press, with the same 11 most games, games every 3 days for 2 months now, and it's run us into the ground. And we are really suffering. No manager could realistically keep CL form in this situation. But to Howe's credit, doesn't use it as an excuse, and sets up to win every game, no matter what competition it is. Even PSG away from home. He went for it. It's commendable. Shouldn't be getting any real stick imo.

With any game plan you need to have players who are pressing/counter pressing. We haven't been able to do that for a long time now, since players don't have any legs, so can't imagine any plan would change much. I think we would be the first to admit he could have rotated players more, especially earlier on in the season. He's very critical of everything that doesn't work out, his work ethic is common knowledge, sure it will turn around.

With fixtures so quick and so fast. Can he even prepare the team? He can barely rotate nor train with any intensity. Since we have been thread bare for so long.
