  1. thought so. Cheers. As the thread title doesn't say anything about an agreement I thought that must be the case.

It did when it first broke mate, thread titles change as more info comes in ;)

Oh well, I better spend my time 24-7 on the forum in future.

  2. rumours that Nigel Adkins is going to be replaced at Southampton. I think he would be a good manager for us. (And fits the criteria that Ashley normally wants as well)

  3. Is this a joke? It's the fella who's missus Pardew was alleged to have slept with. He has transferred him before. I am saying alleged, not saying there is any truth in these rumours  but we have all heard them surely?

  4. They should just not bother with referees and have someone making random decisions. Would get more decisions right than they currently do.

Sack them all and replace them with robots. I'd rather have goal line technology, video reviews, and all the other scary technology that FIFA swears will destroy the game than the bent group of idiots we have right now.

    Exactly.
  5. That's not really bad news. It sounds like he wants to join us, and rejected other offers (good news if true!) but one of his relatives thinks that the Premier League is not the best place for him. They are wrong. Whether we actually are going to meet any valuation is the difficult question, and one that does not give me much confidence, but you never know.

  6.

They say that Ben Arfa wants to go to Breme or Newcastle but Hoffenheim can pay his salary and that Jpsé Anigo the "sport's manager" spoke with Hoffenheim's "dirigeant (leader, I don't know if say that)

thanks LaKro, dirigeant is something like Managing Director ? thanks anyway.

  7. hi LaKro, would you translate this please? The quote is from France football and you should be able to make more sense of it.

I'd already made perfect sense of it thank you.

I know and I was just about to say that, but you saved me the trouble.

  8. I'

ooh la la Benoit Cheyrou, dans le tete Werder Bremen et Newcastle au Jose Anigo ans Hoffenheim.  Hatem Ben Arfa oui la pantalon.

    See, I'm French too.

    voulez vous.

just passing the time of day really, Sky Sports website are saying pretty much the same thing and we'll just have to wait and see won't we? I'm not really optimistic or pessimistic about it, but it would be a good signing if we are actually in the race?

    "

Premier League newcomers Newcastle have been strongly linked with a move, while interest from Italy is said to have come from AC Milan, Genoa and Parma.

Hoffenheim have now joined the hunt and are reported to be readying an €8million (£6.6m) approach for the 23-year-old.

"If we can sign Ben Arfa, that would be sensational for the Bundesliga," the club's general manager Ernst Tanner told Rhein-Neckar Zeitung.

"He is a magician. Technically extremely strong and very fast.

  10. Plus some departures Hatem Ben Arfa and Benoit Cheyrou should occur this week.  The midfielder would spin with Werder Bremen or Newcastle, while Jose Anigo discussed with a delegation of Hoffenheim Friday. The German club, which can take into account the salary of Ben Arfa, could propose to the international conditions slightly more favorable than the OM through the premium.
    :shifty:

So in other words, even if Ben Arfa prefers Newcastle, we'd have to match a bid by a club with bottomless funds if he wants that choice.

    Not going to happen.

I don't think we have a chance but would quite happily be pleasantly surprised. Unlikely though.

please let those be your thoughts and not a translation.

 aye those are my thoughts, if that makes you feel better.
