but personally I don't think we should even let him go for that price. I just can see a stupid agreement around £5 million... it will just sum things up. Letting our best players go for half their value...

As I said earlier, it would be madness to even talk to another club, if the offer is south of £10 million. Any less than that and we should just be saying he is not for sale.

We shouldn't let Taylor go for anything much less than £10 million. If they want him that much, they should pay it, otherwise we should do everything we can to keep him.

How does Alan Kennedy know anyway? Does he work at the club? I don't think he does, does he?

Nope he doesn't. But Macca supposed source was said to have left NUFC in the later part of the seventies for a Top Division Club with which he is still involved. Alan Kennedy writes columns on the official Liverpool website so that was the first name that came to my mind.

But it still doesn't explain how Alan Kennedy would know what is going on at NUFC.
