He's been fantastic, and I have a lot of respect for him going to the Bundesliga to actually play football in a real competition for a real club when he could easily have gone the way Anelka and others have gone, chasing the money.

Dutch football magazine VI is reporting that Spurs are the first club to officially enter talks with the club and the player's agent, trying to move early in order to beat any competition to his signing. I personally believe he will end up at Arsenal however, like you say.
