Hey, that's the role of supporters! He doesn't seem like the type to not be calculated, but there were a few players who could use a head shake today. Alternatively, this is maybe as good as they can be. Yes, this is what irked me the most, there's no urgency whatsoever on some players part and overall we look devoid of unity, belief and incapable of conforming to whatever system Howe deploys.

Yeah dude, myself included, a lot of us glossed over the fact this team is much better than ours and any lapse in play on the pitch was going to result in a goal against. There's about 5-6 teams that look like relegation fodder, hopefully we can bring in the right players to avoid the drop, but I have a hard time seeing that happening as the season wears on.

In Howe's defence, it's not like the other players at his disposal are any better. I agree with going down, we look that way. I'd be all for outspending our relegation rivals in January, but I'm not convinced it's even worth it.

Amazing post, @KaKa and couldn't agree more. Those 3 players are class and could easily undo our leaky defence at a stroll (as we saw). I should blame myself for building up hope we'd build on our only win. If we do go down, I think Willock would be a player who could benefit from a season down there. I'm not ready to completely write him off, but on current form, nothing warrants him being in the starting 11.

Stop biting, man. We were horrific after 10mins and despite have a far superior manager (over Bruce) in Howe, the collection of garbage we have in this team is sending us down. Which, might actually be for the best in the long term. I'm as pissed off as you are at the frustration of reality clouding this team being better. It sucks to suck. We need to give Howe time and money, we'll be better in the not too distant future and most of these nothing players will be gone sooner than later.

It didn't need to be that embarrassing. The only one I have any empathy for is Howe and the mess our new owners have to unfuck. It's wild that most of these players have been together multiple seasons, yet seemingly have no clue how to play cohesively. What's most disappointing is any optimism that had come from our takeover, is the realization at how garbage our squad, mentality and poorly mismanaged this club has been for most of my adulthood.
