Aren't the strikers being rated a tad harshly? They had nothing but blind punts pointed at them all game long, and Viduka did well to make a fist out of any of them. In the end, it was our central midfield that sent us down. Maybe Viduka but Martins wasted a great chance and was hopeless when he had the ball.

Ratings Harper- 1 and lucky to get that. Edgar-2- extra mark for getting sent off. Coloccini- 6 - wasnt actually that bad apart from early nerves Taylor-8- Our best player give everything our Man of the match Duff- 6- not to bad Butt- 1- what else can be said. Nolan- 1- Slow, fat and useless Lovenkrands-0- was he even playing Guthrie-5- The fact he is our best midfielder sums up why we are going down. Viduka- 5- couple of nice touches but not much else Martins-4- just awful again.

No surprises, fully deserved absolutely shocking performance. Steve Harper is God awful.

I hope it is as good as it promises, so much attacking flair on show, plus it is one game so shouldn't be any negative tactics.

We have been rubbish for 37 games so cant see why this will be any different, especially without our two best defenders. We need a miracle, we wont win so the best we can hope for is a draw and for Man Utd to beat Hull.

We need to remember that a draw may still be enough, so we cant go all out attack( not that we really could) and we must not let our heads drop if we go one down.
