I'm genuinely perplexed as to why this is even a topic to discuss. I cant see us going for him. We have Longstaff who's probably a slightly poorer man's version of him. Maybe I'm missing something here. Are there people who actually want us to sign him? For what purpose?
Well sort of, yes, and the purpose would be that if the manager wants him then he should be signed.
Everyone is so certain that he is this awful player that will always look awful regardless of the manager he plays for, or the role he has in the team. Football just doesn't work that way though.
A lot of people on here rated Richarlison and Bissouma highly last summer, and thought Spurs had done a great job getting them both for just under £100 million. How is that looking now though? They were awful fits for Conte and whatever he was doing at Spurs. It's all relative.
Another thing, Howe seems to like British players, this seemingly really annoys a lot of people on here I've noticed, even though so many of you are British! Howe seems to get the best out of them though, and feels they are well suited to his aggressive, high tempo pressing style. I understand the thinking.
Howe seems very certain of himself and what he is doing. I want to see him backed, even if the players brought in might not 'seem' to make as much sense to us initially.

Because there is fuck all actual indication that he's even interested in that player, especially when it originally came from bald cunt Edwards. A better player than our current midfield, I don't think so.A lot of you still don't get it.
I guarantee you will not find one post pushing for us to sign him on here or proclaiming that he would be a great signing.
Now none of us know for certain that we are interested, but most of the discussions have been based on the possibility that we are because the rumour keeps coming up.
If this is indeed the case that Howe wants him, then based on the job he has done, and with even lesser players, he should absolutely be allowed to get the players he wants, regardless of how certain you all are that he is shit and as one 'analyst' on here proclaimed, is worse than League 1 midfielders.

It’s a football forum though.I know, that's why we're talking about it.

I’ve seen McTominay play dozens of times and I’ve never seen anything in him. Franz Beckenbauer could come out as a big fan of his and it wouldn’t put a dent in my opinion.
Well you're not the one managing the team so it's not relevant.
If we want to be good we should probably at least start by giving the manager that has done so well the players he wants, regardless of your expert opinion.

I'd be fucking gutted if we sign this cunt.
Gutted that we'd be signing a player the manager that got us in the top 4 wants? Hmmm ... very rational.

McTominay is awful and I'd much prefer to sign the best 2 CMs in League 1 as opposed to this fucker. See which one develops and I'm confident we'd be much better off as a result. He's fucking awful and would add zero to the squad, move on ffs
Sounds like you'd get us relegated signing League 1 midfielders instead. Crazy talk

I'll be gobsmacked if he is actually one of our targets now. The game up here a couple of months ago, he was abysmal. I find it amusing that some actually feel he would be a decent signing. All this new influx of posts due to a Man Utd Twitter page. He's nowhere near the level of player we should be looking at.
And why exactly should we trust your player analysis over the man that has got us into the Champions League in a year with even lesser players?

I love watching Le Fee. He seems like the perfect player for us. Anyone else on the Le Fee train?
He's a classy player, but he's very small. Not the sort of physical profile we've typically looked at in midfield.

Azpilicueta wants to be a hard man so badly. Small man complex.

This match is two drunkards scrapping.

Don’t think I want Gallagher like, runs around a lot but extremely untidy.
Looks so much poorer than he did with Palace.
He's already a high energy and high effort player. With him trying way too hard to impress and/or prove himself at Chelsea, it is an absolute mess.
Lost the composure and self assuredness he had last year, that came with being a key piece in that Palace first team.

Forgot Enzo was even playing. Look like he is on his way to being ruined too.

Antony on the right and Mudryk on the left for Galatasaray in 2025. A pair of £90 million shockers.

How the fuck are Chelsea this bad
By spending £600 million

That Hall at left back for Chelsea looks really good. Should have 2 assists.
Havertz is an absolute pansy man. Just so unimpressive so often.

Cuntony going to miss the cup final then. Shame.
Bet he plays. Just watch. Looked like he was overdoing things for whatever reason.

Looking at that tackle, it looked like there was hardly anything in it.
This Antony guy will be at Galatasaray in 2 years.
-
If Antony doesn't have to go off the way he is carrying on man ... I'll be absolutely stunned.

Gallagher has come out in the wrong studs.

McTominay, Gordon, Gallagher ... I mean I'm just not surprised, considering the way we play.
I think long after he has won multiple trophies at Newcastle and wants to slow down, Howe is going to end up being England's best manager.
I think mentality wise and football culture wise, English players are so incredibly well suited to aggressive, high intensity pressing football. When Howe introduces that style with his England team it's a wrap.
-
Woah ... Mudryk's got some issues man. Not handling the pressure at all. Looks mentally fragile.

Man City linked heavily with Mac Allister this morning. What could be a great 24 hours could get even better if they harpoon the “mighty Liverpool’s”deal for him.
Looks and ideal Gundogan replacement.
My God man this Man City thing is not going to let up for a good while.

Those players look like really good fits for Moyes' style of football to be fair.Would be good signings.
