  1. So many lovely passes between the lines from Rodri, Pedri and Ruiz. This midfield is so refreshing.
  2. Nico Williams great play again and Calafiori has bamboozled it into his own net!
  3. Bellingham can do a good enough job moving the ball and driving forward from deeper positions too. Don't think they need some Rodri type player in there. It's not the only way to play football. Bellingham was the one that threaded through that excellent ball to Watkins from deep. Think it makes more sense having him alongside Rice like most have said, and I think I now agree with them.

    NUFC Transfer Rumours

Ousmane Diomande talk is lingering. Encouragingly all the other suitors previously mentioned, seem to be looking elsewhere, and no longer mentioned as much. Apparently he wasn't as strong second half of the season after returning from AFCON, which may have worked in our favour, as far as other interest and his price subsequently dropping some. Sporting apparently open to accepting somewhere around £40 million. From what I've seen he's a bit of a beast defensively, and very very aggressive. To the point I think he needs to tone it down. Gets very handsy and fouls a lot. Unreal talent for his age though.
  5. Mixing in these terrifyingly quick, direct and skillful wingers to their possession game is a delight.
  6. Morata taking too many touches there. Shoot the ball man.
  7. Really hope the hype isn't getting to his head. Noticed that too.
  8. If he can't figure out a solution then he just isn't good enough man.
  9. Interesting ... Maybe why he was so indecisive about the Leicester job. Think he'd do a lot better tbh. Wouldn't be a bad shout at all.
  10. Anyone find it even more alarming that the sitting back isn't his tactical instruction?!
  11. The manager has been there 8 years and still can't pick players in the best positions to optimize the team? What kind of manager is this?!
  12. 100% This team is full of players at teams that press week in and week out. They understand how to go about that. Why not take advantage of that? It also suits your footballing identity as a nation, a more aggressive high tempo style. None of these guys sit deep for their clubs defensively. You can see they don't even feel comfortable doing it, or know what they're doing.
  13. Yeah, perhaps. But to be playing at such a poor level, against pretty ordinary sides though? Inexcusable in my opinion.
  14. Nothing makes sense with the whole approach man. It's crazy.
  15. I feel bad for England fans man. If the team at least looked somewhat exciting, energetic or dynamic, I'm sure they'd be a bit more relaxed, even if they didn't win. At least they'd enjoy the matches. Having to watch a team with this calibre of players, play so badly, and never win anything ... That is some kind of punishment man.
  16. It's 100% the manager man. The team doesn't even function a little bit. The performances are falling below even an average level with these players?! Gareth is a decent guy, but this ain't the gig for him man. It's not for everyone. Maybe he'd be a really good pundit or something.
  17. I feel bad for the players that have to answer questions after suffering through that kind of match.
  18. I just figured out why this is winding me up so much, even though I'm not English. It's because of how familiar this feeling is watching this kind of football. Allardyce, Pardew, Bruce ... it's the exact same type of random, lifeless, boring and confusing football.
  19. I genuinely can't believe how bad this collection of players looks. Some achievement by Gareth Southgate man. Just incredible.
