Probably his best game so far in a botting at OT

At least we can see that given a partner and some support upfront he is far better.

It's one game with some horrific defensive errors. I'd like to see us play this way and gain some more consistency with it.

I think this is the first time I've seen us work the ball into the final third where Joelinton could hold it up and drop it off to other players

Our counter also looked more interesting with more people getting forward.

I'd rather be more attacking this way, as we will surely do far better against the lesser teams.

This has been better than lonely Carroll or Joelinton toiling all day and night.

The guy is just not a great defender. Adds soem good ability on the ball and passing, but he is suspect back there.

Matty Longstaff is so soft there man. Wish players wouldn't look for any reason to go down.

Longstaff brothers look like they belong in an U23 match.

I like what he's done today a lot. Think Almiron and Joelinton will look a lot better in their respective positions.

I like that we can now use Muto and Gayle more as strikers alongside Carroll or Joelinton. Saint-Maximin can also now play upfront with more freedom when he comes back in.

This slight tweak in the formation is really good from Bruce.

Love having the two upfront with Matty and Almiron breaking forward from central midfield.

Lots of support for Joelinton. Really good stuff.
