Think he'll be fantastic, personally.
He'll find a system that makes all their attacking talent work.
Meanwhile we can continue the joys of watching long hoofs to Joelinton island.
-
Everton are about to snag Ancelotti and we have Steve Bruce ... man if that doesn't make you not want to get up in the morning.
-
Now they bring on Seb Haller!
He probably could have got 3 in the first 45 to put this game away
-
Only West Ham could get blown away by Arsenal playing this poorly
The state of their defence man
-
Saw that coming as soon as Aubameyang gave him that pass. The defender was not clued up to his left foot at all. Masuaku so unaware.
-
Martinelli gets his first in the prem! Really like him. Has looked fantastic in the cup games. Nice cool finish.
-
This would have been a great game to get Haller some goals. West Ham have missed a trick here.
-
Xhaka
If that guy comes anywhere near Newcastle man ... terrible midfielder.
-
The number of times Ozil has just been shoved off the ball so easily ... and why does he keep dropping so deep just to lose the ball?
Let Xhaka and Torriera get it to you further up the field man. Urgh.

Arsenal man, this is the worst I've seen them. West Ham have been average, but that's enough to win this game.
It's kind of depressing. Loved the glory years under Wenger so much. Hate seeing them like this. They're a disaster at the minute.
Ok with it tbh. Kind of enjoying this Leicester story. They're pretty much a holy club now. Real life Dream Team. Blessed by Buddhist monks the other day. Lucky bastards.
It is nice to see a bit of a shake up with some of the top teams not being as dominant as they have been, that's true.

Happy for the guy as he has done well, and has been worth two wins already. His mobility really is shot though, but maybe it's just a matter of getting up to speed fitness wise still.

Maitland-Niles will always cross when he's not supposed to, not cross when he's supposed to, over hit or under hit the cross the cross when he shouldn't, dribble when he should pass or pass when he should dribble ... such a bizarre young man.
Athletically gifted as hell, got a lot of good aspects but his decision making is up there with the worst i've seen
It's incredible man.
To be fair he did come through as a winger and has been shunted in at right back due to Arsenal having injuries in that position the last few years, but my goodness ... the guy is too frustrating, especially as he has so many tremendous attributes as you said.

Haller dropped for West Ham again tonight.
The striker most would have been thrilled with this summer and he's really struggling at West Ham.
I can only imagine how bad he would have looked for us, as although we have been better than West Ham results wise, we certainly play much worse attacking football creating far less opportunities.

Ozil and Xhaka shouldn't be playing for Arsenal anymore man.
The pair of them play with no urgency or quickness of thought at all.
Never thought I'd see the day Arsenal would be this bad. It's truly incredible.

Arsenal and West Ham are disgustingly bad.
I mean this is actually out of order it's so awful.
Have you seen Newcastle play this season.
Seriously, we look terrible. Someone said, before the Southampton game, the Southampton were shit - they still looked miles better than us in an organised attacking sense. Everyone does.
I think we've been an abomination, performance wise this season, yes
And yet I can barely stomach this game It's been phenomenally bad
-
Ozil is just depressing to watch so lax and ineffective.

Not giving up on this guy yet.
Not until we have games where we control the match more and he's not spending most of the time closing down and then having to fight defenders in isolation to hold the ball up.
We've hardly put together any decent play to create chances since he's been here.
It's all such a shambles.
It is a shambles and we have so far failed to control ANY match. We are unlikely to do so either.
So after 16 games with a grand total of 1 goal, how much longer do you give him? He's paid to score goals. He doesn't. He doesn't even look like he's likely to either.
The thing is who scores goals int his setup?
It's no coincidence all the players further up the pitch have done nothing either.
Don't think we're looking at a situation where just putting a better striker upfront solves the problem.

it's so similar to the Pardew 5th season. Credit where it's due to Bruce for getting the results at the moment
No credit at all. You've said it yourself that it's similar to the 5th place season. The following season proved that we finished 5th in spite of Pardew, not because of him.
Give over. Yeah Pardew was shit overall, but he deserved some credit for the season we finished 5th, as does Bruce for having a decent start to his time here.
I'm sure the wheels will come off eventually (as they did with Pardew), but you can't say whenever we win, it is in spite of the manager.
The one thing I will really give Bruce credit for is that the players are giving their all for him, and actually seem to care.
As for the product on the pitch. It is all random fare at the minute. No direction and no clue.

Man ... everyone wants to stay and manage in the premier league nowadays and we have Steve Bruce.
It really is incredibly disappointing.
