The players in the system they’re being set out to play in just isn’t working. Needs something to change the way they play.
We've now seen a 4-4-2, a 4-2-3-1, a 4-3-3, a 3-4-2-1 and now a 3-5-2 and nothing has looked effective or worked well this season.
We just sit deep and when we occasionally win it back, we lump it long or give it to ASM to try and dribble the whole team.
No idea what on earth is being done every single day in training. The team can't win the ball back or pass the ball consistently for more than 3 to 5 passes at most.

Prefer him in wider areas where he has more space to run at people all game.
Playing him through the middle, particularly in Bruce's anti football mess, is not going to work out well.
-
These jokers man
"You're right there with Man City, Spurs and Chelsea, you should be thrilled!"
Their positions are the break from the norm, and they'll hardly be in and around the stink the whole season like we always are.
Meanwhile the likes of Everton, Villa, Southampton, Leeds and Leicester continue to leave us further and further behind. Urgh.
-
No worries man

The top 8 looks so fresh.
That's why the "Big 6" were freaking out and trying to pull a fast one
-
Seek help man.

Kaka’s boy on
Join the club brother. He's a worse stalker than Melissa from Middle School. And she was a really committed stalker too.
Oh yeah! Seen him hounding you about Bruce or something. Never seen anything like it

Nice attempted block from joelinton that

Joelinton on the brain still?! The obsession continues!

Leeds with 26 shots so far against Villa.
Going to set all kinds of records when they play us.
-
Shelvey in midfield against this lot is going to be something else.
Imagine Bruce the master tactician vs Leeds, I shudder to think what he will come up with
It's going to be a traumatic experience.
Just think that Biesla was managing in the Championship while Bruce was working as a Premier League manager last season.
Just so sick of the nonsense at this club man.
-
This is a Leeds team missing one of their best players in Philips and starting a right back in central defence too.

Hard to even believe how good Leeds' football is.
Just wait till they play us man
-
Don't have one top centre back unfortunately for them. Otherwise they would have been right up there.
Having said that it looks like every team might struggle to defend this season, so they could be in with a chance.
-
Reckon Mourinho would be tempted to play Kane slightly deeper and behind him, with Bale & Son on the wings with Hojberg & Sissoko as a central two?
Could see him do that at times, yes.
Generally, they'll be thrilled to have someone they can use when Kane needs a rest, finally.
-
Another lovely setup by Vinicius for Spurs. Really like the look of him. Son scores.

Not really worried about Lascelles.
It's more what this says about the effect Bruce has had on the team.
It's a very bad sign.
-
Brilliant play from the new Spurs striker Vinicius. Moura scores.

It's better he doesn't say anything IMO, or just say the team needs to bounce back and do better.
We were really bad against Man U and sat deep all game, so coming out and talking about shutting up shop was never going to be received well.
It's painfully obvious we look so bad defensively because we cannot keep the ball and are not a threat going forward so the opposition can just push up against us and take pot shots at our goal all game.
His quotes just emphasize that the team do not appear to be in any kind of mind state to rectify these issues if the prevailing thought is that we need to shut up shop.
We're in major trouble.
-
The reaction to his quotes on social media is absolutely embarrassing from our fan base. He’s right. The gaps, especially between the defence and midfield is absolutely massive at times. With the forward players we have we’d been way better suited to the low block, counter attacking system we had under Rafa.
Whatever it is we’re doing doesn’t work. Whatever we were doing against Man U didn’t work. He’s also right, man for man they are way better that us and making it difficult for them and countering fast is exactly what they’ve struggled against in recent weeks.
No. He's not right about anything.
He's talking about how we started well, and how we played good for 70 mins.
We didn't. We were open the whole game and they ultimately got 4 goals. Just because they ended up getting them a bit later on, doesn't mean they weren't carving us open throughout.
His quotes are shocking and completely clueless.

You can sit back and protect a 1-0 or 1-1 against a top team if you have a Head Coach who drills organisation into you.
We sat back the whole game though and were awful at it, and they're talking as if that wasn't the case. It's terrifying.
They're acting as though the last 3 goals came about because of something different we did. They didn't. We were getting pulverised all game.
That’s my point. Lascelles is saying we should have sat back. That’s fine if you’ve got a top manager who drills into them what to do. With Bruce that’s ridiculous, he has no idea how to do that.
Yeah. For sure.
His idea of sitting back is even ridiculous. It's just having everyone camping out deep in our half.
There's no plan whatsoever of what to do when we get the ball.
We will go down this season.

And doing it with a 4-4-2 that works well defensively and offensively. Southampton are run frighteningly well.
The players and managers that have gone through that club in recent history has been something else.
