The latest rumour that Rafa has been told he has to sell players before buying suggests that this isn't happening any time soon. We can write off any funds from Ashley which would be paid off in the event of a takeover if that's true.

Possible tactic by Ashley to put pressure on PCP to raise their offer perhaps? Might be the case.

I'm sure PCP will want Rafa to get players that he needs to ensure we are able to stay up. Ashley may well be using this fact to get the offer he wants.
