In the event we go down I think Moyes would stay on. He spoke recently about maybe going to the Championship for his next job. That would be a real plus.

Rodgers at the very least would utilise our better players I will give him that.
He will also try every formation to fit them in as best as he can.
I cannot see the likes of Colback and Gouffran featuring at all under him.
Pearson would play all the ones we hate the most. Ultra defensive backs to the wall, play all of the "hard-workers".

Pearson kept up Leicester miraculously last season, and those idiots will be looking at that as a plus. Wouldn't be surprised.

Whoever comes in, you've got to question their sanity. The last few managers only came in because their careers were on a big downward spiral.
As unbalanced as our squad is we should still be at least mid table at the worst. Any manager with any inkling of ability should realise that and see an opportunity.

Moyes is tough and no nonsense and we need that tbh. Our squad is so weak minded and soft.
The downside is that I'm not sure of his ability to set us up in a way to get the best out of our players. Didn't seem that inventive tactically in his Everton days.
Under Moyes I would still expect to see Colback in midfield, Sissoko on the right, Gouffran out wide for his hard work, Perez on the bench, Saivet AWOL etc etc etc. Hope I'm wrong though, but I'd still be incredibly worried about the use of our players.

I do remember previous articles talking about Rafa's interest. Let's not forget he was close to finalising things with West Ham before Real Madrid came calling. Not sure why people think it's so unbelievable.
