Ashley only cares about himself, NUFC being relegated was a big concern for him - hence the summer changes.

Why would Ashley give a toss about a very small group of supporters singing and holding banners up? The sit-in after the game, the group who stood outside Nine bar before a game (forget which one) were both awful and taken up by a very small number.

The Tottenham no-show was probably the best, but was still not great.

I feel the cat with the message about starting to go back to games.

At the same time though if I was in the area I wouldn't yet. Bit too soon IMO. Having said that there's a bit of optimism,  and let's see where we are by this time next year. McClaren kept mentioning 3 windows, so we'll see.

In the meantime think it's fair enough to follow the club and support the team without attending. Afterall I doubt we'd even be in this improved situation if not for the great work from PardewOut and AshleyOut.

The way we were under pressure against Man Utd for long spells, sadly Arsenal will muller us. It doesn't mean we're not on the up, but it might be a severe beating.

Provided we start with the three man midfield and just Anita sitting deep, and obertan is replaced by Thauvin, I think we will be 100 times better.

It will be a very good game from us if we do that and we have Mitrovic upfront also. The difference will actually be alarming.

He's potentially worth a lot more for them. (If that's the right player I'm thinking about - their top goalscorer last season.)

Yeah, I'm sure he is. It's just surprising I guess. Just not used to these fees for Championship players yet 

The guy has played half a season in the Championship, as they bought him in January for just under £2 million.

They now want £15 million for him. Geez! I actually like him as a player too, but considering we bought Mitrovic and Thauvin for around £12 million and Wijnaldum for just under £15 million. It's a bit unsettling!

It's going to be a tough game for our defence. But we've got players to threaten goals against them too. It'll be interesting that's for sure.

Just hope we can compete, and see the best of our players. Then we'll be in with a chance of getting something from the game.

Once they are all fit and firing, what I mentioned above, is what I'd do personally.

For now Siem should continue to come off the bench till he's up to speed.

All I did was follow scores last year, and check to see how my fantasy team did.

Would watch the Newcastle games just to see if someone would attack Pardew and then Carver, but then had no appetite for any other games or match of the day.

Not starting him ahead of any of those folks to begin with.

He should be first off the bench and start the odd game.

If he continues to shine then look to move one of Sissoko or De Jong, whichever isn't performing as well as they should.
