Rooney always seems to have a run a season where he'll get something like 9 in 10 games, everyone* cottons on half way through the run and adjusts the team to get him back in, then by the time it's settled his run is over. Want to be ahead of the curve this year with him.

It's a dig at Wenger's approach to the transfer window I believe. 

Aye, he was a very good striker and would start for England now, easily. He had no chance with Shearer, Sheringham, Ferdinand, Fowler, Cole and then others like Sutton and Collymore around as well. He was up there with Ferdinand, Fowler and Cole, but Shearer and Sheringham were a level above when they played for England imo.

Our number 10 will be De Jong. Wijnaldum is just filling in because De Jong is working his way back.

If Pulis and Berahino are furious I imagine they thought the fee was a good one.

Feel bad for Berahino. Knowing a club like Tottenham want you but being stuck with Pulis, would drive me mad too.

Express saying Pulis is furious he wasn't sold. Apparently this is all sown to the Jeremy Peace guy. Pulis had told Berahino he could leave, and was purposely keeping him out due to their agreement.

Explains Berahino's frustration tbh.

£11m or so I think I saw earlier

Pretty substantial considering he's coming in from Scotland.

Last year Alderweireld went there with a lot of questions about how good he was and it worked out great for them, so this will be interesting indeed.

Koeman seems to get the best out of players, as hardly any of their signings under him have bombed. Is also bringing through some young guys quite well.
