Remember what Shay said at the time "They made me do things that I didn't want to do in the end, and I was disappointed with the way it was handled." Aye tbh. He has walked away from Newcastle. He could have stayed until the summer. I am sure had he done that then he would have got his move then. Manchester City would have come back in then with a bid that we would of accepted. However he chose to leave in the middle of the season.
