  1. And therein lies the clue to why so many are pissed off with his comments in the Guardian today. Shay could have been the difference to us being in the Premier League next season and not. No-one wants his "prayers" for us to stay up, would have preferred him to stick out 5 months inbetween the sticks for us, and then moving on. If you cannot understand that then sobeit. I wanted him to stay too but the abuse he's getting for leaving a joke. Why should he have stayed? We had a abysmal caretaker manager, s**** players, no chance of silverwear, a captain that wants to leave, a farce of a board but he's a t*** for leaving? looking like relegation? Is that not the time to dig in and see us through? At least til the end of the season. He just appeared in man city training ground with a big smile on his face. Its ok Shay, we'll face our destiny with out you. coward. no chance that he thought harper was an able deputy and the money the club would get from his sale could be reinvested into our first team and help the fight then gimp? he didn't do our f***ing negotiating for us man...or decide what the club spent on players (or didn't spend) - had we got 10m for him and spent it well on two players i doubt many people would chelping like this like the way you're sure what was going through his head though, which was terror and fear, being a coward like eh? He bailed out, makes him a coward. no, it doesn't. He's bettering himself, whether you can accept that or not. Its true. We are looking at relegation, he knew this, he bottled it and left. Didn;t have the stomach for a fight so f***ed off like a rat up a drain pipe. f***ing coward. No. Better club, better wage, more ambition, permanent manger, european football and a team signing and (attempting) to sign the very best players ...yeah definetely wanted to go as 'he bottled it'. Aye, he quit on us. A few more months in the trenches and he could have maybe help NUFC retain its prem status. He had a massive hissy fit against liverpool and wnted to fucking move. Dirty little bottler.
  2. now then toonlass............shades of Gazza, Waddle and Beardsley here, wouldn't you agree ? Hasn't happened for a number of years, wouldn't you agree ? NUFC was a selling club back then. We are an established prem side with big crowds and TV money.
  3. Best keeper we've had arguably, our second highest ever appearance maker - not hard to see why And then quit.
  4. I think to many fanboys on here carry a hard on for Shay.

  7. No, its a rubbish analogy. You dont work in front of crowds of 50k every 2 weeks or represent a city.
  8. I'm going to shit in a cup and chuck it on him. IF we are in the same division................

They're simply pointing out that some Newcastle fans have over egged Robson's regime in hindsight to a ridiculous degree. SBR did well overall but that's not to say there were some pretty crappy runs and woeful players in the team before he struck gold with Bellamy and Robert. Alex Ferguson went 12 games without winning. Rome wasn't built in a day. They reckon it took approx 870 years, I prefer the rolling 5 year plan more. Yeah, makes big sams 5 year plan look a piece of piss.

I think a lot of fanboys seem to want to remember the good couple of years we had under Robson and choose ignore some terrible football before then.

Dont forget he was gunning for Zenden and Jeffers before them. Imagine if we signed those two instead of Bellamy and Robert. Oh dear.
  12. Serial bottler, ha ha. Pull the other one princess. You are able to count aren't you? Instead of giving all your bile to someone who saved us more goals than Shearer ever scored for 'walking out' once, save a bit for the guy who walked out on us twice. Bile KK was forced out, we all know that right? right?

  14. we may never play against him thanks to his super harry houdini trick.

  16. Remember what Shay said at the time "They made me do things that I didn't want to do in the end, and I was disappointed with the way it was handled." Not sure if that was regarding the transfer or Llambias made Shay fondle himself while he was recording it. He was probs trying to engineer a move and protect his image with the fans, Llambias played his ass and showed him for what he really is. Given could have easily come out at any time and said something along the lines of " I'm staying, i cant leave the club like this". And then left in the summer. He didn't, he left, jumped ship, ran away, bottled it. Coward.
  17. I just dont like people running away and then speaking to the press telling us we are running out of games. Fuck off we know, you could have helped us stay up.
  18. I dont ever recall you dropping people in the s*** and i've known you 30 years. you grumpy old gits
  19. Aye tbh. He has walked away from Newcastle. He could have stayed until the summer. I am sure had he done that then he would have got his move then. Manchester City would have come back in then with a bid that we would of accepted. However he chose to leave in the middle of the season. I have not forgotten that he gave us all those years of wonderful service, but I do feel strongly that a few more months would not have killed him. So I don't want his opinion on Newcastle's situation now. Amen.
  20. I dont ever recall you dropping people in the s*** and i've known you 30 years. if you've known him 30 years and you were both working for joke company who were continually f***ing over their staff and customer base for years on end wouldn't you be pleased he was getting a chance at a move to a potentially more sensible environment () with a massive increase in wages? if it was my mate i would like No
  21. I dont ever recall you dropping people in the shit and i've known you 30 years.
  22. Coward, no he isn't But I'd agree - we don't need the sympathy of anyone, let alone someone who walked out on us. Walking away from a relegation battle = coward. Unless you can inform me otherwise?
  23. Which channel did watching it on?
