  1. Absurd to get rid of our best player by far.  I don't much like the guy, but I respect his traditional ability to pass the ball to a teammate, something all too lacking for the last several years.

  2. It is amazing that Keegan was pilloried by a few for what happened.  These crooks are redefining the term untenable, and taking it to unprecedented levels.  I would not blame anyone for walking out on this regime.  I would like my future grandkids have the chance to be tortured by this club.  So whatever it takes, this man needs to be jettisoned out as soon as possible.

  3.

When you are the only one attempting to do this, that is the obvious problem, whether you think it is sound in theory or not.  What manager worth his salt would sign up for this shit, when he could get a hefty signing bonus even at a place like Wigan?  These pricks think they are revolutionizing the club structure in the game?  This madness has ruled out any chance for us getting a good manager while that troll and his oil boy are in charge.

  4. Serious point here. Imagine for a second that we'd had the results this year and last with a twattish character like Souness in charge. Would people be as fussed about the manager getting the boot? He got a lot of brownie points for being a decent man who conducted himself with dignity. It's still a results industry though and he failed to pick up many points this year against lower league sides, including some stinking results against our fellow promoted sides as well as Blackburn, Stoke and Wigan.

This doesn't change objective reality.  The nature of what occurred, and how it occurred.

  5. Seen it all before, fast forward two months and it'll be business as usual.

This is my fear.  It won't affect him at all unless it is really coordinated and sustained.  People will go back to feeling a bit disenfranchised, and say, "What can you do?  It's still my club."  Part of the power that anyone possesses is fueled by a collective belief in that power.  Take that belief away, and the Emperor's tackle is swinging in contempt.

  6. Support for the club can only be expressed by defending it against people who are killing whatever you've ever known your club as. I'm inclined to think that must involve not putting any money into the club, including ticket fees. As long as he has your money, he's laughing at you.

Would be great if we could get (tens of) thousands turning out outside SJP on matchdays to follow games through the media and support from outside the ground... dreamland admittedly but would be a magnificent statement.

    Well said.

  7. I am still holding on to the hope that I have become so mentally divergent that I created this alternate reality in my head.  It's really 2003 and we are about to finish 3rd.  Rumor has it that a bid for Zidane will be all but accepted by Madrid and that he has agreed terms in principle.  And we are NOT going to snap up Bowyer.

  8. Lets get behind the fecker and support Newcastle United.

Let's support Newcastle United against this bunch of c***s rather than supporting the people trying to destroy it, eh?

Negativity will only get us one thing and thats relegated.

Awesome, if I'd known that the power of wishes could keep us up then I wou;dn't have been worried in the first place.  Being complicit in this clusterfuck is what will get us relegated.

Luckily the people who are being spineless are either sitting on their hands or staying away (or don't go in the first place), so the only voice that will be heard is the one that counts, the people who are absolutely fucking pig fucking sick of this shit and don't want Ashley's mate to have a nice cushy job without putting up with some horrific shit by way of revenge.

Didn't you know?  'The Secret' actually works.  Just wish for us to win the league hard enough...so if every supporter of every club at the same time just wished really hard to win, everyone would win the league, and everyone would be happy.  It's that easy.

  9.

This is all playing out like a shit Guy Ritchie movie.  In a few years time, any asshole who watches 'Goal: The Dream Begins' will have to look us up on Wikipedia.

  10. And so it begins...the pharaoh drops a heavy brown load on us, and says that he is showering us with gold.  Pretty soon the lot of us will be trying to buy a Volvo with a slightly petrified imperial turd.

This is the time for "negativity".  These assholes need to be held accountable for their actions, no matter what happens in the near future.

  11. I was a season ticket holder with the Clash/Earthquakes form '96 to '05.  I am finding it really difficult to support them with enthusiasm since they returned to San Jose, even though they had a decent season last round.  I suppose I still feel betrayed by what happened.  I live in LA now, and cannot for the life of me come around to supporting any Los Angeles team.

  12. This thread highlights how a minority on the forum wear the damage from getting it up the ass by the owner as a badge of courage.  All it will soon highlight in a few months is that the pharaoh can take a shit on the peasants as much as he likes.  Ashley is using the same playbook that the first asshole who stumbled upon a barley field near the Tigris wrote.

  13. One thing I really don't understand is why Ashley has put the new boss in now before four of our toughest games on the season. He obviously planned to do it earlier, we know that, but there's only one place the finger will be pointed if and when we lose the next four games.

He can't even execute his own dastardly plans effectively, the ignorant fat slob.

Hughton fucked up his plan by doing things like twatting the mackems 5-1, no wonder Ashley had a dig at him for "milking it" and was so pissed off with the fans chanting his name.

Ashley strikes me as a very jealous man, no wonder he's put a detestable dickhead like Pardew in, he wants to be more poplar than the manager at all times.

Thinking about the 5-1 being only six weeks ago just makes my blood boil, cheers.

I alluded to that before.  A sociopathic tendency to destroy anybody who gets the adulation that he so desires.  His actions do not strike me as business-driven at all, but the actions of a vindictive jealous man who subconsciously understands he's a f*cking Hutt (but with a weight problem) who will never be loved or respected.

  14. If we do go down, at least he's got a good record of getting teams back up, unlike his predecessor.

    Oh wait...

Is there actually in fact two Alan F**king Pardew's in the world and MA has got confused?  Kinda like when you search by name in facebook and get a whole list back.

You mean the Alan Pardew who won the Champions League with Real Madrid?  Easy mistake to make.
