Most of us here have been guilty of it. I've called Ashley fat before. The whole Luke Chadwick thing, and listening to Reid Ewing talk about his battle with dysmorphia made me realize how damaging it can be on an open forum.

At leasat you owned up. Some on here have said some absolutely awful shit as well, and not a peep.

He’s used it very constructively as a spokesman about dysmorphia. I’ve Nothing but admiration for him.

Yep. He was a really nice dude. Lived next door in the Casa Loma apartments in Venice. “is a nice dude”, I should say. Haven’t talked to him in nearly a decade.

Impressed with all of the empathy on here.

If they suffer from body dysmorphia, no amount of luxury can truly make up for it. A guy I know was an Abercrombie and Fitch model and a co-star on Modern Family, but he still tried to off himself a number of times over his appearance. And he didn't exactly get the insults body shaming thrown at him on this level. The few he did caused him to go into a tailspin.

Given the responses on here by adults, I suspect that his life was made absolute hell as a teenager.

Thought Luke Chadwick would be a good lesson on this. I certainly have been guilty in the past of making unfavorable comparisons of footballers on here. But that story got me reflecting.

Dan Ashworth has a fantastic rep of picking up good players. From his time at Brighton, he has earned at least a little trust of his judgment.

Imagine not being Edwards, and defending him to the death. That seems an impossibility.

And frankly, I wouldn't blame anyone for wanting to leave, if it's been made known by a fair share that they're not wanted. Why should we expect people to tough their way through it? Based on salary?

That sucks, but it still doesn't quite compare, does it? The Everton scenario was a fairly extreme event that happened not too long ago. I don't blame him.
