  1. This means so much to all of us, its not about hoping to sign fucking mbappe or Messi.

Its about bringing hope back to the club and most of all for me i can finally bring my two boys to St James'. I could not bring them during the Ashley years with the absolute state of the stadium and the atmosphere just not the way it was. Living over in ireland there is obviously not too many of us with lpool and manu the popular teams still,it was starting to give me anxiety worrying about them changing teams. I really want them to come over and experience the city the same way i did with my dad so they will get it just like i did, just thinking about this last night gave me goosebumps and i had a tear in my eye.

This is what NUFC means to all of us, its not just a football team.

Big shout out to everyone who played there part in anyway , even some of the idiots on twitter clearly it made an impact in some way.

Looking forward to the day we can enjoy just talking about football again :indi:

Would only put ASM and Wilson in their lineup  over ours. Possibly Dubravka and Schar when fit

Dawson is abs shite have to say but yeah i would only have ASM, Wilson and probably Schar , maybe willock too ahead of bowen depends on this seasons form

  3. My two older brothers are both man u fans and they are great lads who i get on brilliant with but they are complete smug arseholes when it comes to football.

They still go on about fucking shearer not winning any trophies and how keegan wasnt as good as we made him out to be. We can not have a conversation about football without me wanting to choke one of them.

Great to see them struggle last few seasons

    Bruce out. Jose in.

    Make it happen, Mike.

Oh man, my brother is the typical smug man u fan who never got over Shearer signing for us and he loves Jose, hates OGS

Im not a big Jose fan but i would love for this to happen for this reason alone other than get rid of rasher face [emoji38][emoji38]

  5. I don’t believe it would have changed the game for a second but I’m not sure how VAR didn’t spot this. Every viewing it looks worse.

If you’re giving pens for the Willock challenge then surely that’s got to be given too?

Red card and penalty of course it would have made a massive difference.

Man U getting biased decisions as far back as i can remember..i find it very difficult to enjoy the league anymore

  6. Would we be happy Bruce gets the chop and Jones takes over. He only ever managed one club and got sacked after 11 months in charge with them second bottom in the championship with a 29% win rate. I fucking hate Bruce so i think would just be happy to see him out the door but jesus this could be a sideway step at best

  7. Shearer is not a bad shout you know. I’d be pretty disappointed in him tbh

Shearer begged bruce not to take the job so i would be shocked. He also has a cushy number on BBC with all his mates so why would he bother

  8. Anyone read Shearer's column in the athletic? Does it criticise Bruce in any way or is it all aimed at Ashley?

There's no way on earth Shearer wrote that from the bit I've read in The Mag. He can barely string a sentence together on MOTD. It's got Caulkin's fingerprints all over it.

    https://www.themag.co.uk/2021/01/alan-shearer-admits-he-has-no-option-but-to-criticise-his-friend-steve-bruce-newcastle-united/

Jesus a bit harsh like. I wouldnt say he is a great pundit but hes not bad either and saying he can barely string a sentence together is bollock

  9. Shef U are bookies favorites for this   Bruce is a great manager though.

Yeah we havent scored a goal in 7 games from open play is it? I seen most those games and we never really even threatened the goal. Sheffield Utd have to win eventually and this is more than likely there best opportunity. Think they have being unluckly in the last while and havent exactly being walloped off the park. It all depends on Wilson for us per usual
