Didn’t his missus and kids struggle to settle in Spain? Can’t imagine Saudi being any easier.

Loads easier to settle there than Spain. Life would be living in compounds with other expats and everything is done for you.

It’ll be easy, clean, safe, sanitised and boring.

  2. Such things are not acceptable at the Stadium of Light… Skintones.

Disgraceful all round from their fans. How about don’t abuse kids full stop.

    ’Haway, but he’s fat, man!’

    Aye, alright Captain America.

As someone that has led multi-million pound projects. I can’t say everything is going to plan if the plan keeps changing. Plans can evolve and change. But I can’t say ‘that’s all part of the plan’.

It’s part of the new plan aye. The one that is more expensive, delayed, less quality etc. aye.

Now some things aren’t ideal at face value and are genuinely part of the original plan. Like eventually selling Bruno or someone. But this isn’t one of those things.

Simply not true. We were owned by a billionaire, just a ridiculous tight-fisted billionaire.

We've not spent anything yet that we couldn't have spent under Ashley. You could make an argument about the ability to attract the calibre of player, but the money is such a non-factor at this stage. There may yet come a time we bankroll our way to victory, but it's not happened yet.

There have been huge changes in infrastructure and the internal behind the scenes team however. I’d be interested to see the balance sheet in that regard.

The work that Howe has done has been wonderful, but I imagine the army of analysts etc will also be a factor.

It’d be nice if the hydro pool started to pay for itself though ? confident it’s filled with acid at this point.

    His record is rather good...

    Howe's 99 games: 50W, 25L, 24D

    Bruce's 97 + Jones 3 games: 27W, 44L, 27D

Wait, that’s not real is it? 50% win record if we lose or draw tomorrow? Incredible… genuinely, that is so impressive.

Can be sold this summer. Too simple player without any special skills.

Eh? This is a joke right?

He is a good player that has had an unfortunate injury. Nah, this is definitely a joke. No idea why I replied.

    It was a good joke.

  7. Aye, Isak should be a non negotiable.

I’m fully confident that Bruno’s contract will be sorted out, but I think that mentally preparing for his departure, with Tonali coming in, makes it a bit of an easier task.

Having said that… it should be an insane offer to even get a response based on the current market. We’re in the CL and attack the cups; our players don’t need to leave for the first time in a generation. It’s a great feeling.

I don’t know - using this logic I had a round of golf tonight and went round in about 120, terrible but on one par 3 I got the Green in one and birdied it so I’m gonna enter the open.

I would love to see the rest of that scorecard.

“R$ 124 million, recently arrived in Brazil: Bruno Guimarães generates influence and Newcastle pays truck of money to ANNOUNCE Sampaoli's darling

Rubro-Negro Carioca has everything to fill the coffers

About the ball market, Mengão will have to be prepared for an astronomical proposal that is coming. Newcastle, the Premier League team, was monitoring all Victor Hugo's steps and has now decided to invest in his hiring. The midfielder is only 19 years old, but he enchanted Jorge Sampaoli in a way that he has been playing as a starter many times.”
