It's hardly that bad of news really. The worst part is that I don't get to see him on Saturday
"Hatem Ben Arfa sustained an injury to his left ankle in a tackle during the club's friendly against Sporting Kansas on Wednesday evening and went to a local hospital for a precautionary x-ray.
Consequently he will be leaving the club's US tour tomorrow and the injury will be reassessed over the next 48 hours. "
I think it's more that a) they don't care and b) they're not match fit.
It doesn't really look entirely like a fitness thing though. It honestly looks like they are just shocked at the actual competition.
side note: 67 thousand at Seattle/Man U.
EPL sides just look so shell shocked when they come up against these MLS sides. They must really think they are shit and then the first 15 minutes are like "holy shit"
i'll let you know when i speak to the orlando city folks.
are you up for some tailgaiting before game?
They have a "pub" in the stadium but it's super expensive and really really fake. That's why I am trying to get everyone to meet up at the Celt before the match because it's a great place with awesome local owners who really support soccer here and have great prices.
The Orlando City people usually do a cheesy tailgate before matches though. Might be worth a pass through but nothing more.
Do you know where they are training on Friday and when? Rosen Plaza is really far out of the way but it wouldn't surprise me if they were planning on training around Disney since it's close and they have great facilities.
ToonarmyMIA, we all need to meet at The Celt before the match Saturday. It's right by Church Street and it's as good as it gets close to the stadium. Shoot me a message if you need more details.
