the addition of a long ball from the back to a geet big fucker up front to give their defenders something to think about even when we are pegged back shouldnt be ignored, its a great option to have in the squad.

Im fairly sure Pardew hinted in his live radio interview he was looking to bring in a target man as an out ball when we were under pressure, as he was using shola for. I also think he is probably the best forward around at this present time who is trying to get a move here, and that in mind we should take the opportunity if it is there. edit- i have a very good feeling about him and cisse. Im rarely wrong about these things.

dont understand peopel saying they dont want him back. It we keep Ba/ cisse he will be an excellent addition. If we lose one of them, he will be an essential replacement.

It was obvious at times last season we missed a target man to take some of the pressure off us. In fact a few time shola did this and we looked much better. this has got to be behind pardews thinking. talk of looking for deeper players., or putting him on the left is missing the point tbh.
