Hes just p!ssed off, cos he saw on monday what he is up against, and Mort hasnt given him enough money. This is the type of manager, I want at newcastle,----- one isnt happy, that we are way behind the likes of Chelsea.
-
was he an idiot when he went 7 games unbeaten, He hadn't made them at the time so obviously not, he wasn't an idiot when we got bummed by the decent teams either before you start. keegan knows what he is doing, we went through all this in 1992, then, 1st, 3rd, 6th, 2nd 2nd. Means nowt though, does it? I reckon he'll do well here but he'll be bucking the trend of managers going back to old clubs if he does. It means, ---what motivated Keegans speech on sky sports, He will not settle for being an also ran, never did as a player , never did here as a manager. He wont settle for being an also ran Now, at least not without a fight. For me, This is exactly the type of Man I want as Newcastle manager. Not happy with being an also ran.

I think, Keegan, will buy players, to play 442, with attacking fullbacks.. overlapping the wide midfielders.

Seasons, Begun with KK as manager.....1st, 3rd, 6th, 2nd, 2nd,.......recent form+ 3/4 quality buys, = top 6 , got to be optimistic
-
and your a 'funny man'
-
Dennis Wise, has justified his job with Newcastle, by blowing the whole of keegans budjet, on this player. www.r2fishschool.com

Aye Taylor, yina, steven taylor who plays for newcastle united... oh and i dont question half of other peoples choices. i meen someone put dyer, he mustve had 20 good games and thats it Kev is right, But i think he is being generous to Dyer ,to credit him with 20 good games.
-
didnt get enough time or chances to show his quality here.
-
the two seasons keegan played here 82-84, he was head and shoulders the best player in the division, and played a massive part in our promotion, to div1. He helped get the best out of players like Waddle and Beardsly. Just before he joined us from Southampton, He was div1 top scorer. Before that he was European player of the year at Hamburg. not too bad eh.
-
cant believe dyer would make anybodys 11, 2 good games a season out of him
-
No, he just had the best keepers song Be that as it may - he saved more pens in less games than Given ever has. I rate him better than Given, with plenty to spare. i cant really argue, can barley remember him from being a kid in the old leazes end, mid 70s

Look HTT, we clearly know better than you. Do you want advice on anything else whilst we're here? Aye, how would I go about telling someone they are a c***, without getting myself banned? Can I quote myself as thread starter,....' Just a bit of fun' There is no right or wrong answers here. Calm down the argie bargie

Agree, Batty very nearly went in my team as my defensive midfielder, but lost out to speed, toss of a coin
-
Why? Ginola had more technical ability yes, but Robert's actual end product p*sses on Ginola's. I remember Robert being far more hit and miss than Ginola. Perhaps its just poor memory or romantic notions about that era. More so him scoring more goals than Ginola, and assisting more. Imo. Ginola had a good first half a season, when he first joined us, and drifted off, after that. Robert, not quite as skillfull, but did more, for longer

I am so sad, I had a rethink last nite in bed. In honour of KKs 433 formation..new idea. Given Beye Woodgate Albert Beresford Speed Keegan Gasconie Beardsley Ferdinand Shearer Will have to go all out Attack, cos it wont win games defending

Dont think, Peter the Great. ever got the Credit he desrved at Liverpool, think it was because Dalglish himself didnt like him.
-
If you could make a perfect manager for us you would probably come up with Keegan except he'd go one stage further than he has in the past and bring us a trophy. I really dont care about the silver pot at the end, Its the journey with KK driving that I am looking forward to

Would struggle in the Championship

It's great getting the perspective of older members for things like this, me being 23 have only seen players really from '91 onwards, and even then I obviously never understood it all. Me Granda when he was alive reckons Len White was the deadliest striker he'd ever seen us have. thanks mate - I slightly changed it after you quoted by the way - lots of people have told me about Len White, I'd like to have seen him too. He also rated Simspon as the best keeper we've ever had and always raved on about Frank Brennan. maybe. I don't think NUFC have had a truly world class keeper in all my time supporting the club, unlike most other positions at some time. Roger Jones signed from Bournemouth, and didn't play much, but I thought that he had everything to be a top keeper if his career hadn't ended. Agree, I was unsure about a Keeper so went for Given

Had agood think about ginola, and tino, along with a few others, Wish i had named subs aswell now

Oh man. Give it a rest. What's wrong with it like? Every thread that has the slightest link to KK features this guy repeating how much he loves him or defending him more than he needs to. I get the impression I'm not allowed to criticise Keegan because I'm a younger supporter. Then again I may be wrong, either way I'm not meaning to be rude about it. But you did ask. I F-king love Kevin Keegan
