  1. 42 from Begovic, Huth, Shawcross, Clark (all clean sheets), Michu (who will become captain since Fletcher didn't play), and Hazard. Will probably go up to 60-ish once Michu is captain and bonuses are added.

Still have Ba, Fellaini, Kompany and Defoe to play, and Silva or Garrido to come in for Fletcher.

Question: Fletcher will get subbed off as he didn't play today, and was captain. If he plays against Reading, will he automatically be subbed back on?

  2. Ivanovic?

Felt I had to include a Chelsea player in there, and Ivanovic is one of my favorite non-NUFC players. An absolute beast wherever he plays in defence.

He's also as dirty and as cynical as they come.

Fair comment. He can be a knob certainly, but I don't see him as a cheat. It's rough housing man

  3. Monday I want this:

                        Krul

    Simpson Perch Coloccini Santon

                  Tioté Anita

                  Marveaux

    Cissé          Ba          Hatem

    Win 8-1

    Absolutely

  4. There were still numerous occasions when the ball went into the box and they occupied the exact same space. Both are full of goalscoring instinct which is a good thing. However, we need something else at times.

They both went for the rebound after Santon's shot. Thank fuck Ba got there first and tucked it away, otherwise I think there was a train wreck of a miss awaiting. Surely a good thing though that they both want to score so badly? We must find that balance, and it comes with coaching a game plan into their forward play. Both of their levels of in-game intelligence/decision making must be a priority for Pardew and his coaching staff.

  5. Chelsea Agree Deal to Sign Brazilian Right-Back Wallace from Fluminense-SSN

Ashley get the wallet out and get Azpilicueta pls.

I don't get this at all. I guess you can never have enough young, quality fullbacks. But they'll have Bertrand, Azpilicueta, van Aanholt, Hutchinson, and now Wallace, all under 23 years old.

How is he doing at Vitesse? Anyone have a clue? Would love him back here to compete for the full back slots.

  6. Alright lads,

Only just signed up.  On Anita, impressed me in the last two games. Willing runner and rarely wastes the ball. I think if our tactics are suited to his natural game I could see him being an influential midfielder. obviously has taken him time to settle in the english game, but I've got high hopes for him.

    Welcome to the forum.

  7. Dortmund play some good stuff.

You know when a teacher gives his/her students the actual exam questions a few days in advance and everyone aces it? That's how Dortmund look in footballing terms. They can find each other blindfolded ffs. Very impressive.

  8. its a load of holier tha thou guff iyam

To each his own like. I'll speak for myself when I say if I were paid handsome amounts for the work I do, I'd pretty much do everything I can to remain professional in every way. I suppose some don't see it that way, especially in England where getting p*ss drunk and making a miserable fool out of yourself is a sign of "manliness" or some s***.

Think it's just cp40's way of justifying being a p*ss head.

  i dont drink at all- or very rarley

and that reply couldnt have presented a better example of what id said if i searched all night.

Glad I could be of service.

Why is it so hard to believe that someone could appreciate being fortunate enough by at least not putting that career in jeopardy? It's not the off-season, and the guy has a lot to prove still, and is injured. All reasons for not behaving in the manner that he has. He could at least behave like a knob in the privacy of his own home, and not in front of tabloid cameras ffs.

Not sure why anyone who disagrees with how Carroll and others conduct themselves is deemed spouting holier than thou guff?

  9. He's not completely useless. He puts his body on the line and tries his best, but has so many limitations it's laughable that he's anything more than a backup CB at a PL club aspiring to finish in European positions. It's not ground breaking information that we need a new partner for Coloccini asap as Steven Taylor cannot be relied upon, and this is no fault of Williamson's.

As long as he's got the shirt on, and tries his best, I can't fault him despite of his obvious short comings.

  10. IMO there's been a lot of drama over the sales of Fabregas and Van Persie to the detriment of the club in general. For all the badge kissing and pretenses of loyalty, Arsenal are right up there with Liverpool when it comes to the delusion that their best players would never leave them for better opportunities.

All this "can they do it without Henry/Vieira/Fabregas/RVP" bollocks has put a huge amount of unnecessary pressure on Wenger (some of which he's brought onto himself) as these darlings have all now gone, and suddenly it seems like all the great work he's done in the past counts for nothing.

The guy is a brilliant manager, and I think he's just gone stale at Arsenal, and it's time to move on.
