  1. Reports that Sanchez is close to signing for Man-U

Something wrong with him to choose Jose/Man-U over Pep/Man-City

    Chose the bigger club.

They are BUT right now one club plays far better football and is more likely to win trophies

  2. Newcastle United’s hierarchy will hear how Peter Beardsley allegedly made a racist comment to one of his players during a trip to the Go Ape adventure course when their investigation into the club’s Under 23s boss continues this week.

Not difficult to work out what he probably said like. [emoji38]

    f***'s sake.

The mirror have stated what he allegedly said, if true then ffs, how thick

  3. I do think it might be a case of the takeover not happening until the end of the season now. They’ll probably want to wait and see where we are. If there’s a chance they can get us cheaper, they’ll take it.

Sadly this my thinking now. Especially as one of the big hold ups seem to be the relegation clause. Would make sense for them to wait it out 4 or 5 months.

Any professional business you would think are not going to take the risk of losing 100 million in less than 5 months. Ashley is not going to change so we’re  at stand off. The only thing that offers any hope is the curry meeting and the fact that she has created a new company which does seem coincidental. Honestly believe if nothing happens early this week then nothing will happen to the summer if it actually then happens at all.

The problem with relegation is that I doubt Ashley sells for less, he'll gamble on us getting promoted again then asking for £300mill+ again (maybe more depending how much the next TV deal is)

Then they will move onto another club in the premier or abroad.

That's exactly what I expect to happen and we'll be stuck with Ashley for years to come

  5. He talks s****

What was he saying there which was "Talking s****"?

He's also by far the best pundit on TV.

He was very average when he first started BUT he is brilliant now, clearly worked at it and I guess once he knew management was not going to happen then he's given punditry his all

  6. Bellamy would be a terrible manager.  You need to have some sort of intelligence to manage people and he just hasn't got any.  Comes across as a thick little bellend.

When I've watched him on The Debate he seems to say the right things, especially when referring to the Youth coaching he currently does at Cardiff BUT how that translates to reality and a higher level is a different matter

  7. s*** management style more than bullying iyam. Still I think this gives us all a perfect opportunity to move on to someone more relevant and present.

Remember Beardsley is the reserve manager, he’ll have little dealings at academy level so don’t blame him for the reason the academy is s***, it’s the lack of investment and recruitment to blame.

The problem is clearly more than Beardsley, the only professional/decent thing about the club is Rafa (obviously admin/ground staff aside).

If the takeover happens one of the things I'm most looking forward to is how everything else is developed not just the investment in the first team.

  8. I'm always reluctant to question why fans dislike an owner/manager (as it's often so far off the mark about us) BUT why do they hate Ellis Short?

I've heard claims of limited spending BUT surely that's not true. He's actual going to lose a lot of his personal wealth regardless of whether he finds a buyer or not (in stark contrast to Ashley)

To my knowledge they've spent money but on lots of managers and crap players. However the fans were not complaining about the managerial changes, they actually called for it and were buzzing as it often happened just before our game.
