Genuine question, would anyone take 0-1 now?
Though it'd be annoying to lose to a single goal (surely even in this match we'll get another chance) it would represent proper f***ing hard work and leave us with more confidence going into the next match than being brayed.
Absolutely, my hope for the match was for us not to get ruined, a 0-1 achieves that

Howay Aarons, put your foot through it
-
Awful defending and crap keeping
-
There it is, inevitable
-
Aguero makes it look so easy
-
-
God, these are magnificent
And we're terrible in equal measure
-
-
-
A let off, Dummett showing what we missed
-
Kompany already injured it seems
-
Get in, a shot on target
-
3-4-3? We would need to have some possession for that to be the case.
It will be backs to the wall and try to use Aarons/Murphy on the counter.

The midfield "battle" is going to be embarrassing
-
I assume King Kev is in the crowd?

Not fully. His years of mismanagement and negative tactics were largely responsible for our relegation. Since then we have struggled to bounc back to a consistent decent level of performance (not helped by Ashley). Even now some aspects of Pardew ball still creeps into the squad when the chips are down.
When the club stops feeling the affects of his tenure. When do we just forget about this chap? Out of curiosity
Hope he takes West Brom down like, purely for our benefit. If he saves us, he can truly become one of our greats. Better than Rafa even.
Technically we have really. It's Ashley's tenure that we're feeling the wrath of.
Sorry like, but that is a load of rubbish.
We've had numerous managers since, Pardew's legacy left with Pardew's mercenaries. There's not an ounce of Pardew's legacy left at Newcastle United now, it left when we sold the likes of Sissoko and Wijnaldum.
Wijnaldum was never managed by Pardew.
The mantaility of mercenary players using the club with no respect and using us as a stepping stone was very much Alan Pardew. Wijnaldum was one of those. We don't have that now. Bad example maybe, but an example of what Pardew's reign stood for.
How exactly is Wijnaldum a mercenary? I hate that term being bandied about.
At no point did he clamour for a move, didn't undermine the club, he gave us a year of mixed performance and went on to better things. Only an idiot would turn down Liverpool in that scenario.
The reality is the club is a stepping stone and will remain that way until we have an owner that fully believes in the club and shows serious ambition.
Also the vast majority of players we have signed have ended up on higher wages with us than the clubs we signed them from? Does that make them all mercenaries? Or is it okay if they join us for money?

We'll definitely get beat, just hoping it doesn't knack our GD too much.
I'm fairly relaxed about this game as I have zero hope for it, just need to avoid a hammering and then make sure we are ready for the Brighton game, I'm already nervous for that one.

West Ham equaliser would be nice.
You got your wish, Desmond

Hopefully Everton can grab a winner

Leeds have levelled against Burton, they are only 2 behind Burton.Mackems losing 3-0, a Barnsley win would do nicely
Edit: Leeds winning now.
Bloody Burton

It's gameweek 22 as Spurs don't play in gameweek 21

Mackems losing 3-0, a Barnsley win would do nicely

Man Utd are going to win this.
Under Fergie they would definitely have won this, not 100% convinced they will today
-
Sunderland 2-0 down now
