Announcement on Monday to say "Where they stand", could well be Ashley staying,

Steven Taylor missed first bit of training, have received no offers for Taylor and he will not be sold.

According to SSN this morning, Everton want Distin now, so lets hope if Lescott does go, Distin will be THE replacement and not Taylor.

Now we'll see how much he loves this fucking club.

I love the "nobody knows what the debt is" line he keeps re-iterating, presumably if he'd actually spoken to SP, Fat Ashley and Lambarse, he would've been able to find these things out.

Graham Roberts going to be on SSN shortly talking about fronting a consortium. He's involved with David Speedie and the trust apparently in trying to raise the money through the fans. I was behind the NUSC/NUST initially but Roberts, as nice a bloke as he is, is a clown and this sounds like a very half arsed effort just to get a bit of publicity.

I'd be expecting us to bring in another loan/free/cheapish player as well as Campbell when Coloccini leaves.  If Campbell came in Coloccini wouldn't even be first choice IMO and keeping him as backup on £50k would be mental, especially if someone's offering £6m for him.

The offer reported is of £3 million from Real Zaragoza, giving us a £7 million loss.  It's about right for us isn't it?

I must admit when I read this I was extremely disappointed, but it doesn't surprise me particularly.

If we sell Taylor (and Colo + Carroll as reported in today's papers) as well as all the other transfers, I honestly don't know how Ashley can be holding out for £100 million for the club.  He will have sold basically ALL our sellable assets and yet still wanting his ridiculous fee.

 

I hope to god that we get taken over before he destroys our fucking club any more than he already has, it's looking fucking scary now.
