Team scores seven and all he's got is . and I'm really bad with hyperbole, but I'm in heaven.

Got your route to the semis sewn up now! Nah, we never get easy Q/F draws. I'm betting we'll get Milan or Bayern.
-
Man, I love this.

He's bought Alves, Adriano, Chygrynsky, Cáceres and Piqué in 4 years. You could also add Henrique, but that was done behind his back. I wouldn't say he's against it but obviously we need personnel.

Aye, I expect us to sign only a CB and a LB next season really. With everybody fit, I think our squad is pretty well stacked upfront. With Alexis and Cesc we have two guys that should be scoring 15+ per season (Cesc will end up with that amount this season for sure) plus what Pedro and Villa already contribute. We have been linked with Silva for the past months, but he's said to cost €30m-€40m.

. We tried exactly that with Zlatan, didn't work. RvP might be more adaptable, but the truth is that Messi will always dominate the play through the center, and a CF risks being isolated. RvP assuming the Villa role, where he helps the build-up play and makes runs into the box from the wing, would work better.

eh? really? Weird http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2111213/Paul-Pogba-leaves-Manchester-United-join-Juventus.html Stopped reading when I saw the name "Mino Raiola". There's your explanation right there.

Higuaín's dad has confirmed Juventus interest to sign his son "amongst others". I do reckon he will leave if Madrid sign another star striker (they have been linked with Neymar for centuries now).

Small little cool picture: the oldest photo of a Spanish football club, taken in 1900 in Barcelona and showing Escocés FC (nowadays UE Sant Andreu in Segunda B). As you can see, most of the players were British. http://img01.lavanguardia.com/2012/03/06/Retrato-del-equipo-titular-del_54264455863_53389389549_600_396.jpg

If it came out now it would be huge. Die Hard 2 hurts from the fact the script wasn't written as a Die Hard film, but then added the McClane character to use it as a sequel after Die Hard was such a success. Same for 3, iirc. same for the first one as well was originally a sinatra vehicle Aye, the book it was based on was written as a sequel to a book which was turned into a Sinatra movie, but was later on recycled for Schwarzenegger () and then Bruce Willis () I love Hollywood ah right. arnie that script is a thing of beauty, mind. Aye, one of the best action films of all time.

To be frank, not even the first Die Hard was written as a Die Hard film, it was supposed to be the sequel to "Commando" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nothing_Lasts_Forever_(1979_novel)

The second half was surprisingly underwhelming, Arsenal di(e)d the hardest, which was to put themselves in a position to win the tie, and they failed to capitalise.

Die Hard on a football chat, I love this place. 4th one was surprisingly non-shit.
-
How was that a goal kick?
-
Really, Milan are *begging* for it.
-
Jesus Christ.
-
Amazing Still think Milan will nick one and finish this.
-
Van Bommel is such a twat
-
Heh, was about to post the only way I could see Arsenal breaking down Milan was muscling them down and using set pieces, something they don't have the players for
-
That back 4 seems reasonably athletic, and Milan have absolutely no reason to press up.
-
I see Arsenal are playing all the speedsters. Not sure that'll work against an Italian side, particularly when they are 4-0 up on aggregate...
-
Dunno, it's not like Milan aren't too bad themselves. Every Arsenal fan I see on Facebook goes on and on about RvP, but it's not like Zlatan didn't notch a hattrick this same weekend. I hope they score one, even two sort of early-ish, to make it a thrilling game at least.
