Agree. Still think that the El Clasico result is so important also to the morale of the team. I'm sure Barca opened up a nice point gap on Real after their 5-0 trashing. Not really, we went up by one IIRC. They didn't really start to falter until january, when they dropped some of these "easy" points (Osasuna, Almería, Gijón...).
-
I think whoever is able to keep his concentration throughout the 38 games will win it, rather than the Clásico results. The total points haul of both sides these past years have been ludicrous and despite their obvious advantage over the other sides, it's not as easy as you may think. One day off and you're set off from the chase.

Funnily, he's also linked to Valencia as a Coloccini alternative. More likely to go there I recdkon as Valencia probably couldn't afford Colo's wages. That's the main stumbling block for him leaving you, I think. If he's on 80k that's massive for Valencia to spend on a CB.

If he´s on that much I can´t see Valencia matching it, to be frank. It's certain that they are looking for a CB and he has good reputation in Spain, though, so the link makes sense.

I have tracked the source, and it's a new link originated in Spain. A Spanish radio pundit claimed that Colo's agent will travel tomorrow to Valencia to negotiate a deal. I have been reading the Valencia forums and people there claim he's already there (the agent). "El Mundo Deportivo" claim that your asking price is €4,5m which I doubt. The Valencia fans from the forum I read seem to be checking this place, by the way.

Valencia have sued Málaga for not having yet paid a single euro of the Isco sale. This is... unexpected.

The lesson taken from this is "never sign Big Sam if you want long term success" you fat oaf.

"As" reporting that Atlético and Oporto are in talks regarding Falcao. €25m+Salvio is their current offer. I think they'd better off with a cheaper option like Osvaldo and spreading the Agüero/De Gea money around their midfield. Meanwhile, "Marca" claim that RM have caved in regarding Neymar and will accept that he comes in the January window. Deal to be confirmed this next week.

We signed Silva? I watched the game bar 20 minutes where the signal went off (apparently there was a storm outside), so thanks for the recap. #27 is Carmona, who isn´t really a prospect but has played very decently this preseason. Overall we still looked rusty and didn´t overload the last third like we use to do when on form, so the forwards were pretty isolated. Preseason and Messilessness I guess. Thiago looked a bit lost playing uptop (was just an experiment) and improved when put back in midfield. Overall we are a bit short of preparation for the Supercopa, and with Messi/Alves/Alexis/Mascherano only starting training tomorrow it doesn't really look good. Now, I care little for the Supercopa but it's against *them* and I'll hate it if we lose.

5 goals in 30 minutes though, mental game

4-1 Combo breaker

4-0

It will be all thanks to Big Sam though, nothing to do with having players that are way too good for the division (still surprised Nolan didn't go to a bottom half PL team).

Just switched to the U20 WC and we are beating Australia 3-0 after 10 minutes
-
Man, Cristian Benítez is good but he really can't score. 2-0 Keita Amazing run by Deulofeu.
-
Sevilla were laughing all the way while they put him in a plane to London. Never got why you signed him. Meanwhile, signal went out for the América - Barça game. Shit.
-
1-0 Villa Come on let's get a win in this fucking tour.
-
How are they expected to comply with the FFP, though? Their net spend has been huge.
-
No it seems that fansfc may not be as s*** as some think, the broke the story Mr Pathetic childish fool Ryder reckons deal should be done this week. So it is true? We are selling Keirrison?
-
To be frank, Wenger´s transfer activity involving players above drinking age is quite laughable. How they have gone so far this summer with only signing Gervinho is puzzling to say the least, given their needs and purported financial health.
-
Boca have registered Madrid's Fernando Gago for the Apertura. Seems he'll go back home then.
-
"Sport" now picking up this Keirrison interest, full transfer for €4m. Note they are quoting "caughtoffside" as source. FWIW we'd bite your hands off for €4m.
-
Hum, buried in a "Lass to Spurs" article at Marca they claim that Bale has put on a transfer request and Tottenham would use that money to fund the Lass transfer. Is that true? I haven't heard anything of that. I suspect they had a mix-up with Modric.
-
That's true, they seem to have a bit of a lack of true class wingers, instead of central players shunted there. Still, pretty fearsome.
