I think it's completely his place to say something like this.

I've always said Dunne is a fat, lumbering piece of s*** but he's had a class season tbf. Collins; I called correctly and said it was a good deal.
When we bought him, I was f***ing flabbergasted (and this is after watching MON prviously buy Heskey, Harewood, Zat Knight, so it isn't like I should have been surprised). Same with Collins. 10m, though, for that pair, good deal.
MON is the most infuriating manager ever. He really is.
That's unfortunate. From an outsiders perspective, I love the man.

Whenever I've seen Dawson this season, he's looked excellent.
Whenever I saw him prior to this season, he looked like he'd suffered some traumatic head injury or been starved of oxygen at birth, he was so s****.
Goes to show, players change, especially when given a change of scenery (in the case of Dunne).
There are no words to explain how right this is.

Hmmm no he wasn't. Not at all. Dunne was a calamity. He made mistake after mistake and cost City a lot of points.
Sometimes I am not sure you're actually watching the same league as everyone else.
Yeah, Paul McShane played in the Prem last year. Can't get much worse than that.

is it just me or is no one doing much in this window
Hopefully it picks up soon, and I think it will.

Haha, Fergie had to piss.

Good debut for Landy. Hopefully as he plays more he becomes more comfortable and less tentative.

Not really what I was expecting out of this one.

I'm more intrigued than excited. I can't wait to see him over the next few months, but if we get promoted, I don't know what to make of him after that.

Ok, so I'm off the main issue. Sorry. My post was initially prompted to someone writing something to the effect that "other countries are laughing at us (England)" in regards to the cancellation of the matches. Which I don't think is true in the least. If anything, I'd imagine them to be non-plussed at the FA schduling matches right through the holiday season-- weather be damned.
Surely, safety and transportation concerns are part of the reason that snow-bound matches are avoided elsewhere in Europe. Not to mention the loss in revenue that follows from the low attendence of those matches. Of course in the United States, they just built large indoor domed stadiums in the north and south to eliminate all concerns about poor weather -- cold or heat-- and public safety (and attendence).
Most of the coldest NFL cities have outdoor stadiums though. Ironically most of the domes are in the warmer cities.
I think it's pretty even actually, iirc there's 6 or 7 domes, and four of them are in colder climates.

I don't know about anyone else but I'm gutted NUFC Blog no longer exists. I'm sure they would have had all kinds of insider information about this deal.
Don't fret, tooj, we have it on very good authority that Beckford is currently undergoing a very, very, very, very long medical at the moment at a hospital in Newcastle.
Roz Harmison taking care of it then?

Our players sure have character.

Linesmen and their robotic ways.

Add me to the list of people surprised as to the amount of games postponed because of snow. I just can't beleive they aren't prepared for this stuff.

Probably because it became less about Beckford and more about Ronaldo.
