John O'Shea believes making the Stadium of Light a fortress will be a key factor in Sunderland retaining their top-flight status.

Check out the brains on John.

You bastards! I put my pie down for one second thinking you would score, then you fucking concede straightaway to Wigan! Meanwhile Bramble's fucking scoffed the lot, fucking idiots!
-
That's got to be made a smiley on this board imo.
-
He's so good Enrique like.
-
Come on Mario lad, fucking do them.
-
Took Kompany out and put Richards in.
No clean sheet for Enrique either.
Glad i moved Saylor to the bench and brought Neil Taylor in though.
-
My dad phoned me earlier which is how i found out. Was totally shocked...
He said he saw him a few times around Wylam in his car and waved at him.
Still can't believe it. The clapping by the Swansea fans was a nice touch.

Jesus Christ, seen Given on Sky Sports just now? Crying into his towel in the goal. Unbelievable.
R.I.P. Gary Speed. A tragic loss. :'(
-
Just seen Ben Arfa's tirade at Rooney.
Nice to see a bit of passion but obviously very unnecessarily booked. Maybe thoughts about De Jong's tackle sparked it? Rooney kicking out? It's late and i'm most probably over-analysing it.
-
Get in Ben Arfa lad, hope i see it on MOTD.
-
I wonder how long it will take to even attain 14 points, the difference between the two sides in the table? Some big six pointers coming up in the next month. Good luck to your forces. Bad times if they can't take something off Wigan.
I hope we lose to Wigan.
Wish granted.
-
Got to start Santon now, i'm sounding like a broken record but Raylor just can't cut it against the top teams unfortunately.
-
The cheer up steve bruce song belted out by our away fans, you can hear it on radio newcastle.
Must have gotten wind of their result.

That 6 game thing to catch us has been well and truly blasted into oblivion!

I cannot fucking wait for Brewsie's interview.

FUCKING COME ON LADS.
(happy angry determined face)

Great first half performance.
Obertan, Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Krul, Coloccini, Steven Taylor, Ryan Taylor and Guthrie all been very good and everyone else OK.
Rooney should be off (and in a police station) for his hideous assault on Coloccini.
Ryan Taylor? Which game are you following?
-
It would be very harsh but i would like to see Santon brought in for the next game, Raylor does terrible against better sides. Shame really, he's had a great start to the season.
Would like to see Santon second half please.
-
Had to have him in my Fantasy team like...
-
VDV not playing this week.

Tiote's injury was described in this mornings Journal as being knee ligaments. Starting to worry about this one a bit. The club probably think if they keep telling us he'll be out one more week every week we won't notice when he's eventually been out 3 months!
He's back in full training.
I thought someone had already said he doesn't feature in any training pics and Pardew has already said he's out tomorrow?
You can see him training in recent nufcTV videos, although that may be old footage.
