What chance Jassim miraculously gives actual power to Al-Khelaifi once the Man U takeover is complete and they then flog PSG?

We should know by now that anyone vaguely successful who claims to be a Newcastle supporter is only doing it for clout.
Sam Fender, Jimmy Nail, Ant & Dec, Brian Johnson, Sting, Tony Blair, Cameron Norrie, Gabby Logan, Chris Eubank, yer one out of Little Mix. They’re all just doing it to advance their careers. RTG told me so.
In fairness for Blair, it was probably true. Fashionable team not far from his constituency, challenging Man U/Tories. Definitely sounds like an Alastair Campbell thing. -

I know Castore gets a lot of stick, but atleast they keep it simple, these days it feels like Puma, Nike and Adidas just do random designs that don't make sense in order to be edgy.
Aye their actual designs for our home kits have been on point and I'm happy they brought back embroidered crests. I still pine for adidas, however, because of the past and because I want our club to be associated with premium brands after the fat knobhead's era.

Miguel Delaney is an absolute weapon. A sneering cunt who loves getting stuck into fans at every opportunity.
He is also one of the few journalists who succinctly writes about the wider state of football and addresses topics like the Qatar World Cup and the involvement of state actors in football clubs.
His article broadly raises some good points, it also contains a few inaccuracies. Very few have chosen to address him on that though and are just triggered at the mere mention of NUFC.
Delaney has been pretty consistent on the topic for a while though. As we become more relevant and successful, the ownership will rightly or wrongly come under more and more scrutiny. It's best to accept it, rather than jump on anything perceived at a dig at NUFC. After all coming out to bat for state ownership proves his point to a degree.
You mention it yourself though, he's a sneering cunt who needlessly loves having a go at fans on Twitter. Can't speak for others, but I get pissed off with him for that, and not because I want to defend the ownership because of his articles which are more balanced.

The article is primarily about Man City and he raises a few interesting points about our deal with Sela and how it could affect their legal appeal against the Premier League.
Delaney might be unbearable at times, but he's always been consistent on state ownership. The online reaction to him is generally cringeworthy and proves his point about sportswashing.
You can accept the general premise of his articles, sure, but the online reaction that you mention is down to him acting like a troll towards fans, or just being hypocritical. Wasn't it only a few months ago when he got into a slanging match with Lineker on why Shearer doesn't question the ownership, and when Lineker questioned the fact that he works for Lebedev, he ran from the scene like the coward that he is. Not to forget one week a few months ago when two articles came out - one Shearer interviewing Howe in the Athletic and asking him the ownership question, and the other was his brother in arms Panja interviewing Mbappe but not questioning him about PSG's owners because he 'ran out of time'. Fuck both Panja and Delaney.

I'm glad they are fully getting the stench of that bastard out, next step to change the lettering on the East Stand.

I don’t think we have done it since the 1st relegation season under Ashley.
We used to do it when we had Adidas, but also until the mid 2000’s we used to have the same home kit for 2 years.
Last time was the final game of the 2010/11 season. Forget wearing one in the final game, can't even remember a home kit being announced before end of season after that.

Which is worse, Everton staying up, or the media love in for Fat Sam if Leeds survive?
I hate Allardici, but the fume from those toxic Everton fans will be one for the ages, so I'm willing to accept Leeds staying up.

The season when they won the title and smacked us at SJP was genuinely one of the lowest points of the Ashley era - it's appropriate that 8 years on, they provide the opposition for us to hopefully return to Europe's top table.

Fuck yeah baby

I'm based in Berlin, so desperate to face Union or Leipzig in the CL Group Stages (Assuming both them and us make it lol)

It’s the best of two evils. Can’t stand female commentators. Most of them sound like pre pubescent boys, they’re placated to by the main commentator when they stumble over their word(which they do A LOT). They simply can’t keep up with what’s going on on the pitch. Why can’t they just commentate on women’s matches? If they were good, I wouldn’t say anything but they’re simply not good enough for the job. So much silence when they’re commentating. Feel like they need to be poked with a stick to be reminded that this is the time you need to make a comment.I'd prefer silence over the kind of inane shit the likes of Waddle, Goodman or the like come up with.

Wouldn't put it past him to become the first since Wor Al to hit 20 in a league campaign over the next few weeks.

Going for a 2-0 to us, and a much more comfortable and enjoyable afternoon than today. Their need to attack should play into our hands, and I wouldn't be surprised if they start hacking at our boys because of the pressing and atmosphere.

It’s not about brands, it’s about money. The Castore deal will be worth pennies - with kit deals you make the money upfront; the clubs make very little from actual shirt sales.
For me, I'll readily admit that after SD, Wonga, Fun88, some absolutely cheap and diabolical Puma tat (remember the 14/15 home shirt and the stickered crest), I want premium sponsors like adidas to erase the memory of that era.

Got a late equaliser in the return game,
mind. Load of bollocks in any case.

Yeah, we have Derby six points, was it 06/07? Remember watching the home game in a pub in Edinburgh and questioning how much worse things would get for us as a club. Turns out it was a lot
07/08 - the Allardici effect. -
Fuck off to the Championship, you tramps.

They’ve got massive problems with Newcastle fans nowt to do with twitter. We’ve had run ins with these cunts for years off the pitch, a more cowardly and snidey bunch of fans you couldn’t wish to meet.
Indeed, see this: https://www.islingtongazette.co.uk/news/crime/21237755.police-snatch-everton-fans-wanted-kings-cross-violence/
Bunch of thugs - it was barely reported at the time; their behaviour over the years has been treated with kid gloves by journos because of that whole People's Club bullshit. -
