If this is true, then I am really happy. I'm more interested in the backroom boost and how they are trying to fill key positions and grow our club, and hopefully this results in a lot of Ashley bashing as well. Would love a wee history lesson for some as well, in that we were the 5th highest earning club in the world in 1999, and had the 5th highest commercial revenues in the PL pre-Ashley to really highlight that potential.

I was sceptical about them, but you really should give them a watch like, even now. The Spurs and Arsenal ones are by far the pick of the bunch. The Sunderland one's great if you want to laugh at Sunderland.
Aye although Prem Passions from the 90s is even better than the Netflix one in terms of laughter because of Reid's aversion to spending, his colourful language during team talks and of course the inevitable tragedy at the end of the season. It's all on YouTube for those who are keen. -

'For them, this was always just the start. Telegraph Sport understands that a raft of new sponsorship deals are soon to be announced, possibly within weeks, which should dramatically boost spending power in the summer.'Bring it on.

There was something on Twitter about 5 football/Toon friendly pubs around King’s Cross. No idea what account shared it now? London Mags? I think The Dolphin was one they mentioned.
Used to be Little Creatures Brewery. But Babel Beerhouse (up near Coal Drops Yard) has some decent, if expensive, beers in. If that is more your bag. But doubt there would be many football fans in there.

Whichever of these two get through, I hope they get Union in the next round who proceed to humiliate them and their media friends in England or Catalonia.

A whole week in London eh? Londoners won't have seen anything like him.

Oh shame. -

Btw unless we invest in some numbers in the summer. We may be on to a Pardew like 16th season next year.
Absolutely not - we are among the top teams for all sorts of different stats, while that was so obviously a fluke which this bloke alludes to:
I mean from memory, how many games did we actually dominate that year? West Brom away, Stoke home? Some good results in there away at Stoke and at home to Man Utd and Liverpool, but come on, it's not like we had some long term progressive style of play. -
Totally worth the £19 million.

What was the one where Given genuinely stopped them scoring about 12? Was it 5 or 6-1 and Given left not long after.I remember Ashley putting out a statement in the lead up to that game with something like, 'What price us reaching that elusive Top 6?'
Aye you bastard, you employed JFK for precisely that goal. -

Anyone think Man U will play strongest team for Barca?
Quite some turnaround playing on Thurs night and then on SundayInshallah.

What did he have for brekkie? Mind you, if we get three points tomorrow, he'll be back to his old tune.
-
Man U players looking tired here; a similar game next week please and we'll be laughing.

Thank god they didn't plonk Bowyer down there to form the unholiest of all trinities.

Did Dyer just say that if we have made a dodgy signing, that it's Isak? Dafuq is he smoking?

Fuck it, this kid's a fucking star.

To be honest, I'd rather the rest of their players were knackered by playing the extra game than worrying about Casemiro.
-
And all of that to finish 7th a couple of times.

Do the grey seats bother anyone? I just think we can make SJP more homely if we go for black seats like Derby have, with perhaps some seats in white showing NUFC and the like.
