Don't see why we should get rid. Decent player (regardless of what the 'wooden heart' brigade say) and not exactly denting the wage budget. I like him.
We're never going to get 11 quality players and 11+ quality backups so what he's needed for, he's more than capable of fulfilling for now IMO.
You also worship Ameobi. Do you become emotionally attached to all the players? The guy is awful. If we need squad depth we should be doing it with youngsters who have something to prove.
I don't see how he is awful like, he was quality in the second half of the Championship season and has been unlucky with injuries. Comes in for a lot of stick after WBA away (very cowardly how he went off, mind), not a World beater but a good squad filler. Although, I agree for his own career he should probably move on. I'd be comfortable with Cabaye, Tiote, Abeid and Gosling as our Cental Midfielders.

Mate. For one, why would we drop a winger to play Santon there? And two, if anyone is to be dropped for him (which is still up for debate due to the unbeaten start[don't get me wrong, I would play him]) it will be a full back. Playing him wide right or in the centre

From his own mouth he can play on the wing. Albeit this is a defensive tactic serving a certain purpose.
It's a stupid "tactic." He's not a centre midfielder or a winger, he's a full back, which is where he should/would play.

Santon is a right-footed wide player who hasn't nailed down a position yet who has a reputed knack for man marking. The objective here is to stick him on Bale.
Just don't see the sense in playing a 20 year old on his debut in a new league out of position. Instead of worrying about Bale we should give them something to worry about. Play Santon left back where he is meant to play, Jonas maybe on the Right to help tracking back with Marveaux on the left.

Plain boring, especially with this Italian arsehole playing Gareth fucking Barry all the time. I actually rated him a few years ago when he was at Villa when they were flying, hate the bastard now. Also even though he's not in the squad, I think over the past 2/3 years Steven Gerrard has turned into absolute horse shit and should not be near the England starting 11. God knows who I would play, just not him. Maybe it's a personal grudge that I can't remember.

I actually don't understand Mackems. I've been brought up, worked with and for numerous Mackems, but still can't understand them. It's like they have a chip on their shoulder about the attention we got in the nineties, and it's still hurting them now. Every player we sign is shit, none of our players would get in their team no matter how good they do or how much praise they get from the 'magedia'. I know there is the rivalry aspect, but I am open to admitting when they make a good signing, or play well. All I have got so far is that we are so lucky with the start we have had. I don't get that either...so if we get beat off the Manchester clubs does that make our start lucky? Or have we just beat the teams in our 'group' so to speak?
They just need to accept that they will forever be shit, bordering on mediocre and we can all enjoy our football.
