  1. Cabaye has clearly sold the club to him, he seems set on us.  I just wish we would do the necessary.  His wages won't be the problem, it's the fee that LOSC value him at that is clearly the sticking point.  MA/DL clearly undervalue him imo, with the Lille over valuing him, we need to find some middle ground quickly or another club WILL come in and meet Lille's demands.

Is he set on us? If we undervalue him, then surely wages will be a problem? If any other club valued him as highly as LOSC then already taking this long is a funny way to show it. That suggests to me, that there is not.

Players in the French league generally earn a lot less & I think should we sign him he would be on wages comparable to Cabaye, which would be about right and a massive increase on what he is most likely earning now.  I just meant undervalue him in terms of what we  are willing to pay for a signing on fee.

  3. They say he's worth £7m? We offered what ... 3.1?  I'd suggest a ball park figure of at least £5m.

    1. We offered €4m and most reports suggest they dont want too much more.

    2. They havent rejected our 'fuckwit low bid'

    3. Its easy to suggest ball park figures when its not your money, have you ever bought a house? Bet you were robbed if you didnt attempt to negotiate with a sensible early bid.

Yes, I have bought a house thank you very much!

The problem is we haven't been going back with increased offers as far as I can tell, we offer low and walk away, De Jong a prime example. Who knows what's going on, probably only Ashley & Llambias, but the way the the 2 of them do business does worry me sometimes...

We made two bids for de Jong then walked away when it was obvious they wanted more than we would go. We have apparently offered a second bid for Carroll yesterday which wont meet their stupid value and are in negotiations with Lille over a second bid to secure Debuchy. So basically half of the players we have tried signing this summer prove you wrong.

According to whom, some "ITK" on twitter?

  5. We would have to be in pole position to sign him. Out of the 3 I don't think it's arrogant to say we are the biggest club & we do have European football.

I'm getting a little tired of our fuckwit low bids though, if we aren't f***ing serious why bother?  We can't continue to miss out on every one of our targets over a few quid here & there.

  6. Various media  report today that Newcastle United is going to release another bid on Douglas Franco Teixeira. The coverage varies  somewhat but it would be an amount between 4 and 4.5 million. A ridiculous amount so where we Tukkers already totally hot or cold longer, and that therefore by Joop Munsterman or immediately to the trash will be made. f*** off with Magpies for a dime to sit in the front row!

    ;D ;D

  7. We seem to have a bit of a nasty habit of players going on strike to force moves through.  Ben Arfa, Maiga, & now Debuchy.

Probably us telling them to go on strike to get the price down.

I reckon Mike & Decka would try any underhand tactic to drive the price down.  Mind you, so long as we get the signing over the line am I really bothered?
