Good for Viera for giving kicking the little spiv. Not a fan of pitch invasions when fans behave like disrespectful arseholes. That headbutt on Sharp a prime example that has the potential to cause very serious injury. Clubs should do more to stop it before they put barriers back up.

We’ll beat Burnley but Brentford will beat Leeds.
-
Think we might need to get more of a grip on all these pitch invasions. That Forest mong a prime example of why.

100K Rangers fans in Seville last night, and only 1 arrest, a Frankfurt fan who assaulted a police officer is what I read this morning on the BBC I think it was. Hardly conforms to the stereotype of Union flag waving hooligans so many are so quick to bash them for.

It just doesn't add up to the project they've sold players like Bruno and the statements made when they first took over. They are loaded beyond belief and want us to challenge and take us to the top. We are spending big.
Aye. Bruno has said several times he was sold on their vision to ultimately challenge the Champions League places, and even next season to challenge the top half, push for Europa League places. You can’t do that on a shoestring budget.
I agree with taking a measured approach, and not spending silly money though. If they’ve sold the likes of Bruno whoppers then he’ll soon want to move.
I think it’ll be a sensible, pragmatic approach, and we won’t be doing it all in one summer window. Hopefully, this is what Howe means whilst also playing down selling clubs expectations on fees. -
Shame. I thought Rangers should’ve won in it in extra time. Not a nice way to lose a final.

Frankfurt throwing themselves to ground and appealing everything, including blatantly non handball decisions. Howay Rangers.

Jamie Redknapp doesn’t know what size Skechers he takes.

No one would boycott apart from a few utter die-hards. Yes there'd be a lot of noise, complaints, hand wringing and maybe some half hearted protests but if we were sitting in or around the CL places it would would very quickly be forgiven (if not forgotten).
If they did try to change it (which they won't anyway) it'll be a gradual thing like how Barcelona slowly gave in to their 'no shirt sponsor' thing where they allowed Unicef to have it for free for a few years, then took the money from Rakuten/Spotify. Probably introduce more colour season by season, some trim here, a collar there, narrowing the black stripes till there almost gone....etc etc.
Nonsense.

Great kit.Guess we’ll never be allowed by the press to go green again.
Aye. A hint of a green trim on a white shirt and everyone loses their shit.

Club “tight lipped” on it according to the Chron. I bet it’s changed.
-
Maybe it’s Castore with the dollars in their eyes re shirt sales in Saudi Arabia then.
-
It’s just a white shirt ffs.

Not a fan of the Saudi colours. Similarly I found the Portugal colours Wolves wear cringey. Perhaps they’ll sell a load in Saudi but I can’t see it being a big hit here. Anyway, it was suggested this would happen.

Got to say, they all need thanking a great deal for the job they’ve done in stabilising us. They appointed the correct manager at the right time which was vital in keeping us up. The 100 mill on signings definitely helped but the single biggest factor was Howe. For me anyway.
Staveley & Mehrdad in particular should be giving themselves a hearty pay on the back for the job they’ve done also.

So long as it’s not still Fun88.

I really can’t see Saudi Golf being on the front of a football top though. Especially if rumours are to be believed that Majid is joining our board of directors.
Aye. It’s just I’d read (I think it was from the Athletic a while back), something saying it’s more likely to be related to the sports, leisure and tourism industry as opposed to Aramco. I’m just connecting dots but it seems to tie in.
-
My best guess is it’s Golf Saudi. Isn’t the fella who’s at the games with Yassir Al Rumayan, Majid Al Sorour, the CEO of Golf Saudi? That and there’s this tournament coming up at Slaley Hall.

Embroidered crest on the home shirt but not on the 3rd by the looks of it. Home is nice though.

He’s a complete weirdo. He posts this crap for the attention he desperately seeks.

Nah. Fancy Wednesday to do them at Hillsborough. 1-0 will be nervous for them. A decent result for Wednesday given how poor they were for the majority.

November seems a long time. 9 months gardening leave!?

Another round of Prime Ministers Questions for our manager. I think it’s a fucking joke to be honest.

If Viera is charged with anything that’s a joke, everything that’s wrong with modern policing.
