havent seen any Mackem reactions to our draw yet (reacems?), had we gotten a trip to Azerbaijan they would have been laughing about "cold thursday in middle of nowhere" and we got a bigger team like Milan or something it would have been taunts about us not even making it through qualifying. aye it odd in Hebburn, The Clock is an NUFC pub and just round the corner is The Longship which is mainly SAFC. Always found it odd why theres so many Mackems in Hebburn and Jarrow when its literally on the banks of the Tyne.

Actually even though it's closer to Gateshead the MC actually has Newcastle upon Tyne as it's address. its such a pathetic arguement and sad that they need to grasp at such straws, however if they insist: Metrocentre is in Gateshead, its address: Metrocentre Gateshead Tyne and Wear NE11 9YG. Low Fell etc are part of Gateshead too, Gateshead traditionally is not Sunderland territory, being as it is about 1-2 miles from SJP. Newcastle city borders do not end at the tyne let alone catchment areas, Whickham for example is south of the tyne but part of Newcastle not Gateshead. There I've said it and I'm done, let them sit around whinging about local geography whilst we enjoy European geography. But of course they dont want Europe, it would get in the way of next seasons chances of , erm, Europe.
