People are harsh on Murphy but over the last couple of seasons he's held his own.  Yes he's had some bad games but who hasn't - certainly been more good than bad.

Is he though?  I can only see us selling Pope if there is a concern over his injury. I am not convinced by Ramsdale - lacks consistency which isn't surprising given his comments

I am really worried about this transfer window - as it's huge.  I just sense am going to be disappointed as there are so many positions that need addressing and the club can't address them all.

Reece getting injured meant Gusto coming on got a few people out of jail.  Of course I transferred him out.

My concern is I don't trust Pope not to get injured again - if we have to rely on Dubs again next season I think I would cry.  The man just sucks all hope out the air when he's on the pitch - it is no coincidence that our form plummeted when he came into the side.  I commented somewhere that a keeper wasn't a priority - am not sure what I was thinking.  If you look at Liverpool, City and even Newcastle when we got Pope.  Having a World Class Keeper is the foundation of a rock solid defence.  Pope would have saved at least two of Man U's attempts yesterday - am convinced of it.

If I was PIF I would spend what I want and deal with it in the courts.  Drown UEFA/PL in the courts - the rules are anti-competitive and deserve to be challenged. 

Top flight Footballers just live in a different world - totally forget the privileged lifestyle they live.  He could learn a thing or two from Gordon - played U21s - within a week of it ending was in Newcastle training, now he'll be off to Australia before then joining the England squad. So no break in two years - if anyone has a case to complain it's him.

IMO season ticket holders from every club should get to vote - as it ruins the entertainment in the stadiums the most. You are just sat there with not a club what is going on.

He'll want to be at his best for the England camp. Players like Trippier don't just prepare for a game the day before, they'll be eating right, sleeping well and focusing on what's coming up. Jetting to the other side of the world for two end of season friendlies the players will get absolutely nothing from is exactly what he says it is - far from ideal.
