Super league did exactly what they wanted. They called everyone's bluff and uefa and likely the leagues have folded and given them more money and power.

Whole thing was set up as a smokescreen to get what they wanted.

they do seem to have somehow won

It's precisely the endless pissing about with the game that is turning young people off. I hate VAR, I hate how all the players get daft cash, I hate all the owners turning them into businesses, I hate the politics, rule changes and FIFA corruption.

We need rid of the old, out of touch mafia who have been persistently attempting to ruin our game to line their pockets, while wasting supporter's hard earned cash.

VAR needs to be ditched 100% - it hasn't worked - bin it.

Not that I think much of his opinion but I know some in here do but big Keith reckons the super league hing delays this

Super League kills any hope of a buy out - why would someone both investing with no hope of European football playing the likes of Barca.

The League will have the right to dish out sanctions. Future TV deals will likely go down, but they will have the right to take action against clubs, which would include expelling them.

Points deduction, fines - yes - but can't seem them kicking them out the league/relegating them.

There is no clause to say they have to be in the league, otherwise the league could never have the threat or relegation or sanctions.

I think it's more hollow threats.  World wide TV money comes from the likes of Man U - there is no way they can throw the clubs out without it having contract ramifications.  Kicking them out will a.) reduce the number of matches on TV b.) reducing the appeal of paying for PPV TV.

If the six PL teams are part of the announcement tonight, do they get thrown out immediately? So City won’t be champions this season?

How can they be thrown out the league?  Surely all the TV money that has been paid relies them being in the league.  And if they do leave then TV money in the league will go down so the poorer clubs will be even poorer and. the richer clubs even more rich.

We've had no win in 84 years, I don't think we'll ever win again in our lifetimes. I'd sooner win something against the likes of Everton, Leeds, Leicester & Villa than be happy to push top 8 for eternity.

I wouldn't - some of the most enjoyable matches I can remember have been against the big 6 - Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United - I mean who can ever forget the 5 -0.  Yes these moments are few and far between but I still remember them to this day. The wins are just that much sweeter.  Without them it'd just ruin the integrity of the league.
